As a veterinarian, I got opportunities to go to the research laboratory of our University. Our demonstrator guide me how to handle the microscope.Then I learnt other essential things from him.
Living Bacterium in Natural Media
After collecting the sample I wanted to examinebit in it’s natural media. The result you got on the above picture.Here presents a living bacteria, it’s eggs are present too.
Indirect stain of rod shaped bacteria
This type of bacteria did not get any colour in the indirect stain So the white cylinder shape lines are the bacteria.
Direct stain of rod shaped bacteria
In case of direct stain the bacterial outer cell got purple colour from the stain. So you can easily find out the bacteria from the picture.
Direct stain of oval shaped bacteria
These bacteria are oval or circle in size.Thats why they form colony among the inner species.If you try to notice the slide carefully in microscope you will find a chain like structure of their colony.
