21 days since my last post on Hive. How did that happen? I don't remember ever having such a long break from Hive, and I just turned eight years as a proud owner of this account. How cool is that?
I've had a Facebook account for pretty much the same amount of time. So yeah, it seems that on February 8, 2018 I actually created this account and started blogging. I did take a long break from my daily blogging recently partly because I've been sick for a few weeks, and partly because I didn't feel like tackling any topic.
The weather is bad, the crypto market is in a bear market (some altcoins didn't even have a bull market) and overall life was shitty. At least in my part of the world. I guess only spring and its sunny and warm days can have a good impact on my mood.
I can't wait for spring. It's my favorite season. Back to my Hive anniversary though... Man, it feels like yesterday I created this account and made my first post. At the same time I feel like I've gone through so much with you guys around here.
Hive is my personal journal, a public one actually, but being a person who doesn't use traditional social media other than Twitter it feels nice to have some place to go to and share your thoughts whenever I feel like. On top of that, Hive has provided for me financially very well in the 2020-2022 period.
I can only be grateful for that. Unfortunately though we did not have a proper bull market for altcoins in 2024 and 2025 and thus Hive has done poorly pretty much like the rest of the market. Life goes on though... Cycles break, habits change and the whole fucking life is a continuous process.
Anyway, too much for one day from my side. I hope I will be more active in the future and maybe manage to daily blog like I used to. Financial incentives are no longer present but interaction around here should beat traditional social media and that sure is worth the time dedicated to be still blogging on Hive.
I hope everyone is doing well and catch up with you all next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
