It was supposed to be a sunny day today, and it was indeed as such, with a bit of wind, until about 6 PM when the rain started to fall over our small town, coming down the hill. I could literally see it and I was showing it to my friends that I was with on the deck, watching how it comes closer and closer, until we actually felt it.
It was a short lived one, of about ten minutes or so, and as much as we tried to hide from it, the wind played against us and we haven't got out of it completely dry. It was just a summer one, and those are a blessing, so no worries. It left plenty of subjects for my smartphone camera though, and here you have some. I know those are no proper close ups but, that's what the Samsung has to offer, and that's what you get.
I mentioned about a Bonus in the title, and here you have it. The Rainbow I was expecting when the rain started... One that I haven't seen for over a year I guess. As usual it always shows up in the same place, starting near the bridge at the entrance in the town, it goes over the train station, and touches the water at the naval construction site. A pretty long one I have to say... and now, when I think for a sec, I realize I should shoot it as a panorama...
No time for regrets. Probably next time. Other than that it was a pretty good day, preceding some two days of rain, but over all a cool one. Hope you have had a great Monday as well and if your day just started, have a great one!
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
