Hi Hivers...
Today has entered two weeks where our family conducts self-quarantine and social fishing by staying at home. It was a bit difficult at first because we were not used to it, but gradually we got used to the conditions that required us to do it.
Not all people do self-quarantine in their own homes, because there are also those who still have to work outside the home, such as fish traders, vegetable traders, grocery traders, building material traders, or shops that sell other needs.
During this self-quarantine period, many positive things can actually be felt. For example, we bathe three times a day, familiarize ourselves with frequent hand washing with soap, the air becomes clean because there are not many vehicles that pass on public roads. Factories that usually produce hazardous industrial waste and large amounts of air pollution, many of which are not operational or closed.
We ourselves, lately almost never buy fast food, except for staples such as rice, sugar, vegetables and fruits. Because my wife has not been teaching since her school was canceled two weeks ago due to a pandemic issue, my children and I often enjoyed wife's cooking at home. We also consume vegetables and fruits more often, which is certainly good for maintaining our immune system to keep healthy and fit.
I was worried that in conditions like now the prices of food ingredients, vegetables and fruits will rise. But thankfully this did not happen (hopefully it will not happen). Only sugar has a price increase, almost double the usual price. While the prices of rice, fish, eggs, vegetables and fruits are still relatively stable.
That's all, guys. I also hope that Hivers will share the positive daily stories that you experienced during self-quarantine and social distancing, so that we can strengthen each other, encourage each other in the midst of panic due to the Covid-19 pandemic that there are no signs of when it will end.
