The pabellon is the typical dish of our country Venezuela, a dish composed of shredded meat, rice, black beans, slices, and in some cases cheese and fried egg, so today I wanted to prepare for breakfast something very traditional Pabellon empanadas, the empanadas can be placed any filling, but a pabellon empanada is an exquisite because it is a mixture of flavors in the same bite.
Ingredients
For the dough: yellow and white corn flour, 1 cup of wheat flour, sugar and salt to taste.
✅Mechada Meat.
✅Fried plantain (slices).
✅Scrumbled white cheese
✅Oil
〽️To prepare the empanadas, there are certain very homemade tips, below I am going to mention some of them:
✔️The dough has to be well kneaded and soft, with its salt and a touch of sugar(optional).
✔️At the time of preparation the dough should be thin, and the most correct is to fry in plenty of vegetable oil so they are crispy and provocative ,the oil should be very hot, NEVER add them when the oil is cold because they are enchunban of the same.
The ideal is to fry them in a cauldron.
✔️Once you start frying them so they don't break, you don't have to let them cook too long , flip them over and then to the other side, it's back and forth as they brown .
✔️Add wheat flour to the dough ,this will give softness to the dough and the empanadas will be very rich.
