Hola querida comunidad de HIVE. Antes que nada ¡Feliz aniversario! El tiempo pasa volando y pareciera que ayer fue que por primera vez esta plataforma vio la luz. Hay muchos motivos por los cuales celebrar, pues hoy más que nunca Hive se ha catapultado en el corazón de muchos usuarios. El esfuerzo ha valido la pena, y muchísimo. Los que llevamos un buen tiempo aquí sabemos lo importante que ha supuesto la descentralización para todos nosotros. Este hecho hace que HIVE destaque por encima de muchas Blockchain.
Hello dear HIVE community. First of all, happy anniversary! Time flies by and it seems that yesterday was that for the first time this platform saw the light. There are many reasons to celebrate, because today more than ever Hive has catapulted itself into the hearts of many users. The effort has been worth it, and a lot. Entonces, ¿qué ha cambiado después de un año? Para aquellos que están recientes en HIVE, deben conocer en primer lugar que anteriormente esta plataforma se llamaba “STEEMIT BLOG”, una comunidad que nació bajo los mismos ideales de descentralización que HIVE, pero que luego de la adquisición por parte de TRON, esto intentó ser cambiado. Como Steemit era una plataforma donde las decisiones pasaban por todos los líderes de la red hubo un desacuerdo total con el cambio que proponía “JUSTIN SUN”, fundador de TRON, para renovar Steemit. Este hecho originó la bifurcación, una división de la red Steemit en dos blockchains distintas, una de ellas: HIVE, y la otra Steemit, la cual seguía bajo el control de SUN.

Hoy me tomé el atrevimiento de comparar la evolución de ambas Blockchains, sin ánimos de ofender a nadie. Es un análisis simplemente desde mi humilde opinión, en el cual explicaré cuales han sido esos cambios sustanciales y esas grandes diferencias que entre ellas existen. Al final, ustedes juzgarán según su propio criterio.

En primer lugar, comencemos por las DApps. Por un lado, HIVE ha renovado completamente sus DApps, haciéndolas más cómodas y accesibles a sus usuarios. En particular, tengo un agrado por PEAK y HIVEBLOG, ambas permiten escribir, configurar y desplazarte por la Blockchain de HIVE de una manera dinámica y muy sencilla.
Las DApps de HIVE se han renovado para ofrecer una experiencia agradable y satisfactoria. Podemos agregar breves descripciones a nuestros Post, seguir senderos de curación, programar la fecha y la hora en la que queremos publicar… y muchas más.

En Steemit, por otro lado, todavía se sigue el viejo patrón de las antiguas DApps. Esto no se ha renovado en absoluto, por lo que a veces escribir algunos POST es algo incómodo. STEEMPEAK y SteemitBLOG siguen siendo las mismas interfaces de hace un año, sin algún cambio en particular, o al menos que yo conozca.
In Steemit, on the other hand, the old pattern of the old DApps is still followed. This has not been revamped at all, so sometimes writing a few POSTs is kind of awkward. Otra de las grandes integrantes de estas Blockchains son sus comunidades, donde diversos usuarios interactúan de manera libre sobre sus temas de interés. Pero, hay que aclarar que algo que motiva a un usuario en particular a escribir en una comunidad es el alcance de su publicación y el apoyo que ésta logre conseguir. Dicho esto, las comunidades de ambas plataformas son completamente diferentes ¿por qué? A continuación lo explico:

Steemit es una plataforma cuyo propietario es el dueño de TRON, por lo que es una Blockchain completamente centralizada. Todos los cambios, proyectos y demás deben pasar bajo el criterio de TRON INC y su propietario, en pocas palabras, el resto de los usuarios no tienen ni peso ni valor de voto.

He visto que muchas personas han logrado salir adelante con HIVE, no unas pocas como en Steemit, sino tantas que enumerarlas se me haría imposible. Este aspecto diferencia a ambas cadenas de bloque, pues es notable cuál es más inclusiva que la otra. Solo basta darse un paseo por Twitter, ahí veremos que las interacciones con algunas etiquetas como #posh o #hiveblogshare son inconmensurables. Este es otro aspecto positivo de HIVE, pues se ha expandido tanto que la difusión de contenido se realiza en redes sociales fuera de esta comunidad. Lo que atrae a más usuarios y por ende, HIVE sigue expandiéndose por todos los rincones del mundo.

Creo que después de esta breve comparación está demás decir cuál es la mejor blockchain. Para mí, HIVE tiene tantas características maravillosas que la catapultan por encima de Steemit: DApps completamente renovadas y cómodas, comunidades inclusivas, grandes proyectos de curación de contenido y una descentralización que permite que todos seamos líderes de esta red.
I think that after this brief comparison it goes without saying which is the best blockchain. For me, HIVE has so many wonderful features that catapult it above Steemit: completely revamped and comfortable DApps, inclusive communities, great content curation projects, and a decentralization that allows us all to be leaders of this network.
Por ello, a un año del aniversario de HIVE, sigo apostando en que esta comunidad seguirá creciendo y expandiéndose por el mundo. Ha sido un camino fructífero hasta ahora, y debo decir que muy agradable. Tengo la esperanza de que nuestro Token siga invadiendo los corazones de muchos usuarios con sonrisas, alegrías y emociones. Hoy estamos ante la consolidación de una red que puede convertirse en la primera Blockchain del mundo. Mientras tanto ¡sigamos trabajando para que eso suceda!
