Today I would like to share with you some nice shots from last spring with a Ruin in Gipf-Oberfrick-Switzerland. The castle old animals stone was inhabited since the 11th century. Older finds indicate that the place was inhabited for a very long time, approximately since 1000 BC. Ruins make always impression, are grandiose.
On the way you can see petrified ammonites. When you look closely you will see its attractive fine mussels structure, in some formations with yellowish color.
The way to the beautifully situated castle ruin leads through the natural beautiful landscapes and a fantastic view over the Fricktal.
