Aquí en el llano casi todo lo que se expresa va acompañado de un refrán, y hemos crecido con un gran repertorio que cuando salimos al mundo nos reconocen fácilmente por ellos y la manera tan especial cómo los utilizamos, simplemente ya forman parte de nuestro argot. Desde pequeña, cada vez que me lanzaban una frase extraña, yo le preguntaba a los adultos en la casa qué significaba, y más o menos me explicaban, pero fue con el pasar de los años que los fui entendiendo mejor.

Mi tía, cuando yo preguntaba mucho o andaba muy inquieta, me decía: “Anda mijita casa de tu tío y dile que me mande unas hojitas de “tenteallá”, y yo iba muy obediente y al llegar mi tío me decía: “Ok, ya se las mando, siéntate un momentito ahí viendo la TV que te las voy a buscar”, y así pasaban las horas y sabrá Dios qué pasaba con las dichosas hojitas ésas que nadie me avisaba nada, jajaja. Por eso amo las expresiones populares de mi tierra, son parte esencial de nuestra historia y sus costumbres.

Éstos son mis 3 refranes, y su interpretación // These are my 3 sayings, and their interpretation:
1.- “Al que madruga, Dios lo ayuda” // "The one who gets up early, God helps him".
Expresa la importancia de ser personas puntuales y responsables con las tareas y labores que debemos cumplir y ser diligentes en nuestro día a día. Si iniciamos el día a buena hora, éste nos va a permitir que las cosas se puedan hacer puntuales y a tiempo, y todo fluya con éxito.
