I have noticed many in my area have mowed their lawns at least couple of times this Spring if not more.
I however have put mowing on pause. I can't bring myself to start the mower and cut the Dandelions down.
It's my understanding that there are no two Snowflakes alike. I don't think there are two Dandelions alike either.
Many are still flowering and some are just getting ready to open up.
Many are releasing their seeds
And the seeds are easily carried away by even the slightest of breeze.
Many wonderful memories I have as small child blowing into the dainty white puff balls. The seeds so easily and magically took to flight.
My Grandmother would say
" Now close your eyes, make a wish and blow"
Sometimes I did and sometimes I didn't.
I dearly and will always miss watching my Grandmother do it.
