Today I will be walking you through how I braid twisting hairstyle. Twisting braid hairstyle is a gorgeous alternative to regular braiding for ladies. Instead of regular braiding which uses three sections of the hair, a twist braiding uses two sections of the hair as you can see below.
And there are so many twisted hairstyles you might be seeing on the head of ladies with all kinds of texture like Kinky Afro Twists, Curly Twists, Quick Twists, Long Twist, Natural Twists, Prolong Twist...
In today's episode, I am going to show you how to make a Long Twist hairstyle with a Brazillian wool and there are different sizes you may want to twist on while developing your twist like; Small, Medium, and Big Sizes.
The Braiding is a long-lasting hairstyle when tightening nicely. I am going to be using Brazillian wool to twist the braid as you can see below, this wool is sold in a cosmetics store and it's also sold at the salon and local hairdressers shop around.
This wool is an original one and I bought it from a cosmetics store around me, as you all know that a lot of things sold now are being pirated, but to know the origin of a Brazillian Wool is so easy just remove it from the pack and check the texture. The original one will look like a normal knitting wool as you can see here, while the fake one will look like a well-combed hair. That is how to know the Original Brazillian Wool.
Mind you, if you are using this wool to twist, it does need hot water. All you will need to do is to trim it with scissors after making the hair.
Equipments Needed
As you can see below; These are the equipments you need when making a Twisting hairstyle with Brazillian Wool; Big scissors to trim the hair after making it as I said earlier, any amount of Brazillian wool that will reach, hair cream or oil to make the hair look shinier with a cutting comb, Big Comb or straightener to use before making the hair.
To Twist the Twisting Hairstyle
After cutting the Brazilian Wool into the length of your choice, you can cut the hair into small different shapes you want it to be with a cutting comb, but I am going to be making the Medium style and not too long. Some people prefer to cut their hair in a Curve shape while some prefer to cut it in a Square or Rectangular shape but as for me, I prefer to cut it in a curve shape like the ones you see in the picture below.
After you finish twisting all, you will trim it with scissors until you see that it's smooth in looking, you can then pack it in a different style of your choice. You can pack it up and use abound to bound it together, you can also part it with half parting, or front parting.
