Butterflies
Dear GEMS community, greetings to all..
Today I leave for everyone's consideration a poem, it is a work inspired by butterflies, their flight, their beauty and the way they make our lives happy, I hope you like it and hopefully you can comment and vote.
There are visions of colours, brushstrokes of crystal and gleam, today the breeze is covered with lights, there is no reason to be silent.
The low flight of a thousand arrows is in us...not a thousand, beyond, beyond, beyond, beyond..., to the horizon.
They, colours come to life, inspiration for a song of light, brushstrokes of an imaginary canvas, voice of angels in the silence of the roses.
Everything becomes colour...there is a fragrance in the breeze that inspires joy, they are dressing the fields, they have come from beyond where I don't know.
I want to dream their distances, I want to look at myself in their crystal eyes, they are masters of space, they cross my time swiftly, I only know the joy of seeing them be.
Tomorrow they will leave, they will not be before my light, one day I too will leave and I will be a dream, I will be time... but if I must return, let it be in butterflies, brushstrokes of light.
Butterflies, those small flying insects, diurnal or nocturnal, present on all continents, are truly beautiful, they have a great relationship with humans, allowing us to inspire art and culture, perhaps with their grace and beauty they are the most tender and colourful thing on the planet.

My poetry is not based on any rule, in fact I have never studied forms of poetic expression, I only express my feelings, my experience and what I see and in my daily walk, I relate what I write with my pictorial work and I think that life without creation is a very simple life, art in all its expressions is a form of encouragement, a food for the soul every day.
