Art Time!
I could create my own art portfolio now, lol! Every time my Little Miss want to do some art work, I have to engage as well. She gives me my own sheet of paper and prepares art materials for both of us.
Today, I barely had the time to sit with her. She was almost finished when I joined her. She had to ask, "Mommy, are you not painting?"
I had to choose for a very simple design, something I hoped I could finish quickly as I had to leave the house soon.
Incidentally, I just came from the bathroom and remembered the face wash tub. The peach design is very refreshing to look at, and could be a good subject for a watercolor art.
Since we do not have the right paper for watercolor, I only used an 80GSM A4 white paper. It got wrinkled with too much water, but all in all, it still gave a good output. I mean, heck, I am not even a professional artist! I am doing arts with a kindergartener. Lol.
I am glad I took a time-lapse of the process! It looks like I knew what I was doing. Haha. I think it took me around 10 to 15 minutes to finish this.
Most of the time we follow tutorials, but there are moments when we just wish to spill some creative juices here and there. Especially Little Miss. She just springs out of nowhere and says, she wants to do arts.
Here's my "peach model" for today. I hope I did it justice.
Anyhow, regardless, I still enjoy the task. It takes my mind off of things that wears me down.
