The last few weeks we have managed to go out for a while at night, something that suits us very well, from time to time, whenever we do.
This outing had a special touch because we were invited to a party where some collage works by my beloved 
The site is also relatively close to our house and the place was apparently a clandestine casino that operated at some point not so long ago, now it is a kind of cultural center and is the place where the popular "EstaJevi" parties are held. A great pun between the Spanglish pronunciation "Está Heavy" (it's heavy!), and Jeva or Jevita, a slang to say "girls" in Caracas.
It was also a costume party, with various settings, a divine terrace where with bearable cold we could enjoy that longed for night air and in the heart of Caracas, something a bit unheard of for us for a while.
I took photos with my phone from the terrace of the place, taking several angles that included the view towards Av. Urdaneta and a distant view towards the center of the city, where now you can see those strange lights adorning some financial buildings, and a bare building residential, surely made by Italians in the middle of the last centuries.

Las últimas semanas hemos logrado salir un rato por las noches, algo que nos cae muy bien, de vez en cuando, cada vez que lo logramos, algo que por nuestras hijas ahora requiere logística extra.
Está salida tuvo un toque de especial porque fuimos invitados a una fiesta donde proyectarian algunos trabajos de collage de mi amada
El sitio además es relativamente cerca de nuestra casa y el local aparentemente era un casino clandestino que funcionó en algún momento no hace tanto tiempo, ahora es una especie de centro cultural y es el lugar donde se hacen las populares fiestas de "EstaJevi". Un genial juego de palabra entre el Spanglish "Está Heavy" (esta fuerte), y Jeva o Jevita, un slang para decir "chicas" en Caracas.
Además era una fiesta de disfraces, con varios ambientes, una terraza divina donde con frío soportable podíamos disfrutar de ese anhelado aire nocturno y en pleno centro de Caracas, algo un poco inaudito para nosotros desde hace un tiempo.
Tomé fotos con mi teléfono desde la terraza del lugar, recogiendo varios ángulos que incluían la vista hacia la Av. Urdaneta y una lejana visual hacia el centro de la ciudad, dónde ahora se ven esas extrañas luces adornando algunos edificios financieros, y un desnudo edificio residencial, seguramente hecho por italianos a mediados siglos pasado.
