Sometimes you scroll through the internet looking for particular information, while other times, you're just scrolling and the information finds you. On one of my aimless scrolls through Twitter, hoping to run into something impressionable, I stumbled into a song used for a meme.
Actually, it wasn't even the whole song, or a part of the song with voice, but the instrumental. I heard it in passing and it stuck to my senses, but like I said, it was an aimless scroll so I ignored it.
A few days later, I noticed that the song was still on my mind. How could a 15 second intro of a song make such an impression? Like I said, I wasn't looking for it, it found me.
I did some research, and found the song through the meme and shazaam. It is casually one of my best songs in my playlist at some point, and I made listen to it at least 100 times as well.
It is not every day I write about music but this particular one really got to me. It is one of those songs that slow down the pace and gets you all melancholy. I think what strikes me most about the song is the combination of instrumental and that crying-Esque voice between each verse.
It is a beautiful love song that you can totally vibe to on your slow days and just be in your elements with.
