What's up beautiful people ? Hope you are all doing well! Today I wanted to show you a sentient work that carries a weight I've been hold on to for so long. Before that I wanna talk about some technical stuff.I've been doing lot of speed sculpts to improve my sculpting skills but I was so dull about texturing and presentation renders of my works so I decided to get into Substance Painter a bit and start learning. This is my first result I got.Final render is from Iray renderer of Substance painter too!(Look at it totall butterflies in stomach! <3)
Annd the sentient part...Yeah I did this sculpture to release all the tension on my nerves, to ease the relic of a past memory that awakens every once in awhile.Name referres to a quote from Altered Carbon tv series. " A Man Who never loves gives no hostage to fortune "
I guess the sentence pretty much sums up what I think right ?well... Counter quote was " A man who doesn't love isn't really a man." .Questioning all these most of the time is a torture if you are just standing there, think but don't do anything to ease it.So sculpting works for me in this case.So I can turn all the drops to golden horns and show the eclipse of heart and mind...I feel like creating is the only way that I can take only fresh air and fill up my lungs in a World full of questioning.Hope I could explain it a bit thanks for reading this, means a lot me.
-Some screen grabs from Zbrush It is so thrilling to write all these here but I feel so relieved right now! Hope you liked it and see you on the next post!
