Hello everyone! How are you? Today I want to tell you about Bichef Restaurant, since last time I shared a bit about my experience at Le Goutier, a French-style restaurant with an elegant concept, focused mainly on desserts and breakfasts, and with excellent service. Bichef, on the other hand, has a completely different concept, much less elegant and more rustic, as it focuses almost entirely on barbecues and similar dishes. The decor is minimalist and country-style, with natural vegetation. In fact, most of the tables are located outdoors, and from there you can see the barrels, ovens, and other equipment used to cook the meat.
¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero hablarles de Bichef Restaurante, en vista de que la vez anterior les mostré un poco de mi experiencia en Le Goutier, un restaurante de origen francés con un concepto elegante, enfocado más que todo a los postres y desayunos, con una atención excelente. En este caso Bichef tiene un concepto totalmente distinto, mucho menos elegante y más rustico, ya que está enfocado casi totalmente en barbacoas y platillos de este estilo. La decoración es minimalista y de estilo campestre, con vegetación natural, de hecho las mesas están ubicadas en su mayoría al aire libre y desde allí se pueden ver los toneles, hornos y demás artefactos donde se cuece la carne.
Everything seemed perfect, although the food hadn't arrived yet, the music was a bit loud for my taste but nothing that bothered me too much, however the big problem here is that almost all the meat is prepared in a smoked way, and that smoke orbits above the diners, so I ended up arriving home with an unpleasant smell of smoke ingrained in my clothes and hair, and certainly nobody likes that.
Todo parecía perfecto, aunque aún no había llegado la comida, la música era un poco alta para mi gusto pero nada que me molestase demasiado, sin embargo el gran problema aquí es que casi toda la carne se prepara de manera ahumada, y ese humo orbita por encima de los comensales, así que terminé llegando a casa con un desagradable olor a humo impregnado en la ropa y el cabello, y desde luego a nadie le gusta eso.
That said, the service was top-notch, the waiters were very attentive, and our order arrived quickly. The food was cooked to perfection, just as we ordered: grilled meat with chorizo, sausages, bread, salad, potatoes, and salsas. Haha, I felt like I was in one of those medieval taverns that served banquets like this, but everything was truly delicious, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection as we requested. The meat wasn't dry, nor did it ooze any globulin (because none of us like it that way). So, I can say it was a pleasant experience, except for the unnecessary smoke that was blowing all over the diners. I think they could grill the meat in a different area.
Eso sí, la atención fue de primera, los meseros muy atentos y la orden no se tardó mucho en llegar. La comida estaba en su punto exacto, tal como la pedimos: carne asada acompañada de chorizos, salchichas, pan, ensalada, papas, salsas, jaja, me sentí como en uno de esos mesones medievales donde ofrecían banquetes como este, pero de verdad que todo estaba delicioso, bien condimentad y en el punto perfecto de cocción según como lo pedimos, así que la carne no estaba reseca y tampoco destilaba globulina (porque a ninguno de nosotros nos gusta así) de modo que puedo decir que fue una grata experiencia, a excepción del ahumado innecesario sobre los comensales, pienso que podrían asar la carne en otra área.
