I started counting the days. Another 23 days until the state of emergency in Romania will probably end. Only if the number of coronavirus diseases decreases ...
There is a chance that after May 15 I can take a walk through the park, early in the morning. Until then I have to settle for walking on the streets of the neighborhood, this being the usual walk between 11 am and 1 pm. Those in my age group, that is, the group most vulnerable to the disease made up of those over 65 years old are allowed to leave the house only during this time, only two hours a day.
I'm glad for that, I use part of my time for shopping and what is left turns into a walk. Now when I can no longer use the car or the public transport, every trip is actually a ride, even if many do not consider it so.
I still did not get used to the deserted streets and especially without the traffic of the cars. This does not mean that I miss cars ... just that I always have the impression that I am a character in an SF movie about the disappearance of life on earth!
This is the new Bucharest Boulevard. Before this situation given by the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of cars passed by here because it is an exit from the city.
The side streets, although they are just as deserted, are more normal because they are full of greenery and flowers.
I liked the flowers the most, especially because because of them I had the feeling that I was walking right through a park, a park that looks like a parking lot because of the many cars.
But the flowers are wonderful. I am grateful to those who planted them in front of their homes, even if they had little space for it. A blooming lilacs we delight not only with the beauty of flowers but also with the fragrance.
Marigold and irises celebrate the beginning of spring, a spring that I think will quickly turn into a torrid summer.
Of course I also met small animals, dogs and cats. It was no surprise. And yet I had a surprise looking in a small yard ... a small pond with koi fish.
I was surprised to see something like this and I wonder how they got through the very cold winter.
Time passes quickly when you feel good, says a friend of mine. I agree with him. I must hurry not to exceed the time limit for leaving the house. Fortunately, I came to the place where these easyboxes are mounted and where I need to take the package.
The return home was fast, even a sport. I was also curious to see what kind of masks I received. These masks will now be a mandatory accessory to the way we dress when we get out of the house.
This was a forced walk in two hours and I share it here for the #wednesdaywalk hosted by and for the #makemesmile proposed by
.
Even more, I end up as I do lately with a flower, #alwaysaflower brought to us by .
I like to remind colleagues here that I admire very much and I try to always learn from them!
As long as we are threatened by this invisible enemy, it's good to protect ourselves!
