Hello hive friendsš,We have a new year, a new start and an opportunity to improve habits in our daily lives. Many of these habits we know are good for us but implementing them on a daily practice takes discipline and practice. Personally procrastination is a major setback. They say it takes 21 days to begin a new habit or to successfully stop a negative one. Often times I am good the first few days and then with time my old habits begin to creep in and before I know it boom, Iāve lost momentum. So Iād share few successful habits Iāve decided to begin the new year with. If we can really start to live and implement them, we just might be able to tackle anything that comes our way.
1.) Begin each day with time for yourself:
Honestly every single day I wake up with just very few minutes left to get to work and I end up rushing and running which leads to my being exhausted before my day even starts. After realizing my day starts off rushed, I decided to start getting up early enough to have my morning timeā my time for silence. I use this time for prayer and meditation...you could use it for whatever works for youš
Everytime I do this my day goes so much betteršš.
2.)Make an overall list:
I hated making goal list because of the fear of failing at the end. Statistic shows that 50% of people who write down and set goals achieve them over people who donāt.
3.)Practice gratitude:
Itās important to be content and happy. As human beings we are naturally insatiable but to consciously practice the art of contentment and start seeing how people live every single day without the basic comforts of life your perspective will change.
4.)Clearly state your wants and needs:
We have the right to express our wants and needs in any situation. If we do not ask for a raise in our salary, weād probably never get the salary increase...itās important to differentiate what your wants and needs are.
5.)Spend time with nature:
Witnessing sunset is something really beautiful and amazing. Just like when we were kids and enjoyed running in the rain . There is something magical about nature. Itās easy to get sucked up in the tech world. Always make time to go on road trips and appreciate nature and the world at largeā¤ļø.
