Dear readers, blessed day, today I continue telling you part of my experiences in the educational world, the same has been one of my pillars to continue walking and traveling with great desire to continue promoting in an unconditional way to children who are observed as isolated, disoriented and even lack of affection in their family environment, some students visualize their facilitators in a superficial and unattainable way, unaware for a moment that we are human beings with and even more problems than them.
Cuando haces un diagnóstico de cada uno de tus alumnos y te das cuenta que a tu alrededor tienes muchos casos con situaciones extremas, a ellos son a los que debemos acercarnos más rápido para abordarlos antes que otros lo hagan para un beneficio personal ya que son los más vulnerables e indefensos.
When you make a diagnosis of each of your students and you realize that you have many cases with extreme situations around you, they are the ones we should approach more quickly to address them before others do it for personal gain because they are the most vulnerable and defenseless.
Consideró que guardan mucho rencor o rechazo por varios motivos por la vida que les toca vivir o por un sin fin y ese es el momento de hacerlos entender de la forma más amigable que nada es tan fácil como ellos se imaginan; por verte con carro y vestida de una manera aparentemente agradable a sus ojos no es porque nunca te falto nada.
He considered that they hold a lot of resentment or rejection for various reasons for the life they have to live or for an endless number of reasons and that is the time to make them understand in the most friendly way that nothing is as easy as they imagine; to see you with a car and dressed in a seemingly pleasant way in their eyes is not because you never lacked anything.
Si bien es cierto que hay casos que no es porque les falte nada y tienen la buena suerte de contar con sus padres igual tienen sus problemas, las cuales suelo llamarlos monstruos mentales y son ellos mismos los que se crean sus propias circunstancias y por ende culpan siempre a alguien y no reconocen sus debilidades y nos cuesta más orientarlos por su resistencia y desobediencia.
While it is true that there are cases that do not lack anything and have the good fortune to have their parents, they still have their problems, which I usually call them mental monsters and they are the ones who create their own circumstances and therefore always blame someone else and do not recognize their weaknesses and it is more difficult for us to guide them because of their resistance and disobedience.
En mi vida profesional me ha tocado experimentar muchos casos de familias disfuncionales, hacinamiento, entre otros y la mayoría los lleva a tener problemas de conductas y vicios; a veces no quisiera enterarme pero sus actitudes me llevan a darle la vuelta e intentar ganarme su confianza para que puedan dejarse ayudar, recuerdo a una profe que nos expresó que tenía una situación con su hija por la separación y divorcio con su esposo y decía (apoyo a tantas personas y no se como ayudarla) porque ya tenía varios intentos de suicido así suele suceder ayúdanos a terceros pero no sabemos como hacerlo con nuestra propia familia.
In my professional life I have experienced many cases of dysfunctional families, overcrowding, among others, and most of them lead to behavioral problems and vices; I remember a teacher who told us that she had a situation with her daughter because of the separation and divorce with her husband and she said (I support so many people and I don't know how to help her) because she had already had several suicide attempts, so it usually happens, help us to third parties but we don't know how to do it with our own family.
Le tengo mucho cariño a un ex estudiante que peleaba casi todos los días, valga el momento para pedir por su vida y creyendo que está vivo aunque me hayan dicho que falleció en un enfrentamiento, su realidad fue que se quedó solo en el país ya que sus padres se fueron del mismo en su momento no pudieron llevárselo y en medio de su situación vivía en una casa con mucho terreno y empezó a sembrar la tierra y le iba muy bien monetariamente, asumo que por su soledad lo llevó a caer en problemas de droga en medio de todo estudiaba y era un alumno respetuoso con el personal y con sus compañeros de clase.
I am very fond of a former student who used to fight almost every day, and I believe he is alive even though I have been told that he died in a confrontation, His reality was that he was left alone in the country since his parents left it at the time they could not take him and in the midst of his situation he lived in a house with a lot of land and began to plant the land and was doing very well monetarily, I assume that his loneliness led him to fall into drug problems in the midst of everything he studied and was a respectful student with the staff and his classmates.
Me tocó vivir un caso muy especial con otro estudiante que era lo contrario porque era falta de respeto, grosero con todo el mundo hasta con su madre, un dia me llamo el director para manifestarse de una reunión por un caso a el que ya no se podía hacer más nada y menos resolver solo expulsarlo; la cual acudi a el llamado pero pedí primero conversar con su madre y luego con el y finalmente con ambos para lograr conciliar y de esa manera mediar para una solución a la problemática, su madre manifestó que ya no podía más con su hijo y el muchacho bajó la cara y casi no hablaba pero yo intentando que me contara su situación o el porqué de su actuación pero sobre todo que me viera como su amiga o mejor dicho su madre, expresándole el dolor tan grande que le causaba y a toda su familia pero me dijo que la odiaba porque nunca estaba presente, siempre estaba trabajando aunque la entendía no la justificaba, le dije hijo debes de valorar todo el esfuerzo que hace tu madre para que no te falte nada, pero está bien, te entiendo vamos hacer un trato si te dejas guiar yo asumiré ser tu representante pero debes de finalizar el año escolar a distancia solo vendrás un día a la semana con el uniforme y seré tu sombra hasta en tu comunidad y me dijo no le creo, le dije tranquilo tu solo ocupate de estudiar, cumple con las asignaciones de los profesores y evitas los problemas en tu casa y en tu comunidad y fue así que logre acordar con el, que permanecerás en la institución bajo acta compromiso y seras mi responsabilidad y aunque internamente yo sentía que su rebeldía no lo haría mejorar, para la gloria de Dios y la perseverancia de todos los que colocamos un granito de arena se lograron los objetivos y egreso ese año como Bachiller de la República.
I had to live a very special case with another student who was the opposite because he was disrespectful, rude to everyone even with his mother, one day the director called me to express a meeting for a case to which nothing more could be done and less solve only expel him; I went to the call but I asked first to talk with his mother and then with him and finally with both to achieve conciliation and thus mediate for a solution to the problem, his mother said she could no longer with her son and the boy lowered his face and almost did not speak but I tried to tell me his situation or the reason for his actions but above all to see me as his friend or rather his mother, I told him that he hated her because she was never present, she was always working, although I understood her I did not justify her, I told him son you should value all the effort that your mother makes so that you do not lack anything, but it's ok, I told him son you must appreciate all the effort your mother makes to make sure you don't miss anything, but it's ok, I understand you, let's make a deal if you let me guide you I will assume to be your representative but you must finish the school year at a distance, you will only come one day a week with the uniform and I will be your shadow even in your community and he told me I don't believe him, I told him calm, you just take care of studying, fulfill the assignments of the teachers and avoid the problems at home and in your community and that is how I was able to agree with him, Although internally I felt that his rebelliousness would not make him improve, for the glory of God and the perseverance of all those who put a grain of sand, the objectives were achieved and I graduated that year as a Bachelor of the Republic.
Hacen dos dlas para mi sorpresa me pareció verlo pasar y de regreso se bajó de un carro y me dijo(Madreeeee me gradué de Guardia Nacional y voy a continuar estudiando, ya no consumo alcohol ni fumo y me dijo bendígame mi profa espero pagarle de alguna manera su interés y apoyo en el momento que más lo necesite) me causó mucha alegría y esperanza por sus palabras tan emotiva para mi, siempre debemos dejar huellas y nunca heridas.
Two days ago to my surprise I thought I saw him pass by and on the way back he got out of a car and told me (Madreeeee I graduated from National Guard and I will continue studying, I no longer consume alcohol or smoke and he said bless me my teacher I hope to repay you somehow for your interest and support at the time I need it most) caused me much joy and hope for his words so emotional for me, we must always leave footprints and never wounds.
Recordé una lectura que casualmente me tocó leerla cuando veía una materia en la universidad, Psicología II y la cual no pude culminar por el nudo que sentí en mi garganta (La Maestra Thompson).
