One of my greatest passions is traveling and trekking. Of all the states I have visited, the Sucre state has one of the best contrasts between beach and mountains. On the border between Sucre and Monagas, very close to the beautiful town of Caripe, this "Sabana de Piedras" is a place full of nature and with a trek of approximately three hours to a beautiful place called "Chorrerón" a waterfall that is located between the mountains. To get to "Sabana de Piedras" from the city of Cumaná, it would take about 3 hours drive.
In rainy seasons the waterfall becomes incredible. In the post I am showing the exit until I reach the waterfall. In the place, camping is not necessary since it is near the town, in that case, we rented an inn to spend the night and in the place we were able to enjoy after sharing with friends, around a good bonfire.
Una de mis más grandes pasiones es viajar y los trekking. De todos los estados que he visitado, el estado sucre posee uno de los mejores contrastes entre playa y montaña. En la frontera entre Sucre y Monagas, muy cerca del hermoso pueblo de caripe, esta “Sabana de piedras” un lugar lleno de naturaleza y con un trekking de aproximadamente tres horas hasta un lugar hermoso llamado “Chorrerón” una cascada que se encuentra entre las montañas. Para llegar a “Sabana de piedras” desde la Ciudad de Cumaná, serian unas 3 horas de camino.
En épocas de lluvia la cascada llega a ser increíble. En el post voy mostrando la salida hasta llegar a la cascada. En el lugar, acampar no es necesario ya que está cerca del pueblo, en ese caso, alquilamos una posada para pasar la noche y en el lugar pudimos disfrutar luego de un compartir entre amigos, alrededor de una buena fogata.
