Hace ya bastante tiempo sin escribir, sin colgar contenido, pero ha partir de hoy retomo las líneas por acá. Y empezando quiero compartirles sobre un tópico tratado como cristiano que soy con otros hermanos a nivel congregacional sobre Gedeón.

¿Quién era Gedeón? / ¿Who was Gideon?
Gedeón, era un hombre de la tribu de Manasés, el elegido por Dios para liberar al pueblo de Israel de los ataques madianitas.
¿Te has sentido de esta manera? / ¿Have you ever felt this way?
En algún punto de este peregrinaje que representa la vida, puede que hayas sentido en ti ese sentir y pensar que no eres la persona más preparada, apta, te sientes descalificado, reprobado para cualquier misión, labor, tarea que en tus manos te ha sido encomendada.
UN HOMBRE DE CONQUISTA como Gedeón / A MAN OF CONQUEST like Gideon
At some point in this pilgrimage that represents life, you may have felt in yourself that feeling and think that you are not the most prepared, fit person, you feel disqualified, disapproved for any mission, labor, a task that has been entrusted to you.
Lo has sentido, ¿verdad? Hoy, vengo a darte un mensaje de Dios para tu vida, a través del personaje de Gedeón. ¿Por qué de Gedeón? porque hay ciertas características en él que dentro de las Escrituras demuestran su inseguridad en la vida, alguien que se sentía débil, inferior, menor que otros, hombre que en su espíritu se sentía limitado; lo importante de esto, es como el Señor en las debilidades, en esas áreas que tú ves como tu punto de perdida, de flaqueza, que piensas que te hará decaer… ¡hace gran maravilla! Hay personas que se sienten hasta inútiles e inservibles en la vida, un don nadie, poca e insignificante cosa, temerosas, sin confianza en sí mismo, pero... ¡Dios se glorifica!

There are people who even feel useless and useless in life, a nobody, little and insignificant thing, fearful, without self-confidence, but ... God glorifies himself.

Al Señor le gusta hacer cosas que sean de gran testimonio, que marquen una diferencia total... Lo cual, aconteció en Gedeón, quien un día encontrándose sacudiendo el trigo en el lagar para esconderlo de los medianitas, el ángel de Jehová hizo su llamado, con la gran tarea de librar al pueblo.
The Lord likes to do things that are of great testimony, that make a total difference ... Which, happened in Gideon, who one day found himself shaking the wheat in the winepress to hide it from the Midianites, the angel of Jehovah made his call, with the great task of delivering the people.
El saludo del ángel para con él fue llamarlo: Varón, esforzado y valiente (cuando Gedeón para nada se sentía así). Una gran finalidad tenia este llamado en su vida, salvar al pueblo de Israel ¿Grande la encomienda verdad? Tanto que implicaba derribar, destruir y/o derrotar a los medianitas. En Gedeón estaba la fuerza de la humildad y de un corazón anhelando ver la majestuosidad de las maravillas que Dios puede hacer, lo cual lo llevo a que, entre tantos hombres, el Señor fijará la mirada en él, para ejecutar esta obra.

Is it great, right? So much so that it involved bringing down, destroying and / or defeating the Midianites. Déjame decirte una cosa importante y guárdala en lo más profundo de las tablas de tu corazón... El que te ha llamado, está contigo, no te abandonará en ningún momento, hoy el Señor está enviándote señal, de que te levantes, que confíes, que tú puedes conquistar porque su Presencia va contigo.

Fíjate como era Gedeón, esas características que en un inicio lo describen “tan pequeño”, por así decirlo. El señor quiere usarte a ti, porque eres UN HOMBRE DE CONQUISTA como Gedeón, pero en este tiempo. Direcciona tu vida a lo que Aquel que está en los cielos y es tu Creador te llamó a hacer, ten visión del Reino, aviva cada día más tu fe y ten enfoque amplio. Así, tal cual, como este hombre del cual estás leyendo cada línea de este devocional, quien tras la señal y prueba que pidió vio la respuesta y manifestación del poderío de Dios, al siguiente día destruyo ese altar de idolatría a Baal. Gedeón, se llenó de fe y como también de la valentía y ¿tú qué esperas?
Look at what Gideon was like, those characteristics that initially describe him as “so small”, so to speak. The Lord wants to use you, because you are A MAN OF CONQUEST like Gideon, but in this time. Direct your life to what He who is in heaven and is your Creator called you to do, have a vision of the Kingdom, revive your faith every day and have a broad focus. Thus, just like this man of whom you are reading each line of this devotional, who after the sign and proof that he asked saw the answer and manifestation of the power of God, the next day he destroyed that altar of idolatry to Baal. Gideon was filled with faith and courage, and ¿what are you waiting for?
