Last Monday I went again to my Pulmunologist for my check-up to see if there had been changes on my lungs with my chest x-ray. It has been only two months since I took the Rifampicin/Isoniazid medication which i a TB medication because I know that you have to take it for six months in order to get cured out of it.
So I wasn't expecting that the doctor would say "Oh you are all in the clear" but for me I might be suffering from it because of my emaciated body coupled with weakness but of course I am still not sure if I do have the illness or not as I am not getting any coughs whatsoever but an appetiteloss caused by the Cinacalcet that I am taking.
I just have to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt until I finished the anti-TB medication because I know that my lungs had been screwed-up because of the years that it has fluids in them because of an incorrect dry weight because I had suffered a breathing issues because of the fluids in my lungs for many years and it explains why the doctor is seeing an impression in my lungs with the chest x-ray.
I also have to take an antibiotic for seven days for my supposed Pneumonia. Now I had a Pneumonia before and its symptoms are coughing and fever. The doctor just given me to take antibiotics and I am cured after a few days. The antibiotic is so powerful that I noticed that I had an improvement only after a day as my relentless dry cough had subsided.
Now I do not manifest any of the symptoms above and the Pulmunologist is just basing his diagnosis from the X-ray result which I had explained already. If I do not get cleared-up with this then it was just my lungs and I would conclude that I do not have any pathogens in my lungs anymore but that would take another four months of antituberculosis medication therapy.
