Last night as I was doing my usual personal computing, blogging, youtube browsing, etc., my electric fan went out. Then I said oh no because I have no idea what happened. My eyes automatically looked at the plug but the plug is up there by the window at my bed's footrest area.
I told myself I just have to check that out because it might be a loose connection. I did checked it out but it is not as easy as it sounds. My body is as thin as a kite but it feels like I am a 500 kilo human being not able to get up that quickly.
I have used all of my strength just to get up with my two flimsy legs so that I can yank the plug off with the outlet which is by the way connected to the bulb's connection above me as the former outlet is no longer working anymore.
I just went breathless by doing that feat and I went angry and frustrated because with such a simple task makes me feel worn-out.
Anyway I was able to reach for the outlet extension again and plugged it again and then I turned on the electric fan. Fortunately it worked, possibly a loose connection because really that cord extension where the electric fan was connected to is really loose.
After a while the electric fan worked but it went off again. I can't afford not to have an electric fan, it is hot in my room and I suffer from ringing ear I just have to have a white noise for that matter.
This time around I do not want to get up with my legs I just yanked the plug out of its loose socket and I managed to take it off with a few tugs.
Then I used the extension cord that is also connected to the bulb above me and plugged the electric fan into it. The fan also worked this time and never went out.
That simple task might be seemingly negligible to most but for me it took a great effort to do it. It is just because my backbone is not in order, the joints there are weak as well as all my bone's joint for that matter plus my crooked backbone is squeezing my lungs which is a factor too for my overall discomfort.
I just prefer to lay down all the time because with this kind of position my joints are not getting tension so I feel okay but if I would start to move around that is really another story. But at least now I am not suffering from lingering pain anymore unlike in the past year where it hurts even if would clench my fists.
It is time to take my NSAID pain reliever again so that at least it will give me a considerable lasting pain relief and I can move much better with ease when I am relieved with my pains.
