This lovely afternoon I will be sharing with you a short post dedicated to archaeology and the ancient world, it is the magnificent city called "Monte Albán" Cradle of the Zapotec people located in Oaxaca - Mexico, has wonderful structures elaborated in rock, its antiquity is located in 500 B.C. until 800 A.D. this site has a large square, space for ball game and a building called "J", as well as an enigmatic but fascinating tomb, called "the tomb 7" where one of the richest treasures of Mexican archaeology was discovered, among them: 500 pieces of gold, silver, jade and turquoise. On the other hand my friend and his partner very often visit these sites to remind them of the greatness of their roots, since they are part of an organization that protects the rights of indigenous peoples in this country, which is why these sites are so important for them, I am glad that there are people like them who fight for the common good, to do justice, to never leave behind the roots and knowledge left by their ancestors. The inhabitants close to this area tell that at night in the chasm of the ruins you can observe the shadows walking of the ancient Zapotecas, many say that they are the spirits of old warriors who even on the spiritual plane still watch their ancient city. Este linda tarde estaré compartiendo con ustedes un breve post dedicado a la arqueología y el mundo antiguo, se trata de la magnífica ciudad llamada "Monte Albán" Cuna del pueblo zapoteca ubicada en Oaxaca - México, cuenta con maravillosas estructuras elaboradas en roca, su antigüedad se ubica en 500 a.C. hasta 800 d.C. este sitio cuenta con una gran plaza, espacio para juego de pelota y un edificio llamada "J", además de una enigmática pero fascinante tumba, llamada "la tumba 7" en donde se descubrió uno de los tesoros más ricos de la arqueología mexicana, entre ellos: 500 piezas de oro, plata, jade y turquesas. Por otra parte mi amigo y su pareja muy a menudo visitan estos sitios para recordarles la grandeza de sus raíces, ya que ellos son parte de una organización que proteja los derechos de los pueblos indígenas en este pais, es por eso estos sitios son tan importante para ellos, me alegra que haya personas como ellos que luchen por el bien en común, por hacer justicia, por nunca dejar atrás las raíces y conocimientos que les dejaron sus ancestros. Cuentan los habitantes cercanos a estas zona que por las noches en la sima de las ruinas se puede observar las sombras caminando de los antiguos zapotecas, muchos dicen que son los espíritus de viejos guerreros que aun en el plano espiritual siguen vigilando su antigua ciudad.
