This morning we got up early to drive down and visit a tattoo artist for a consultation. Hive account@flowerbaby is getting a new piece on her sternum and I was happy to drive her down to talk with the tattooist. We arrived at the tattoos shop 25 minutes early and shortly after got an email from the artist. Bad news, she had misplaced her keys and was running late for the appointment.

Good news was we were in downtown Barboursville and it was lovely weather today. So this lead us on a stroll around the very small town. Along the way we found several cute little spots to snap some photos and make each other explode with laughter. Playful times like this are what I enjoy the most with Hive account@flowerbaby.

We spent a solid 45 minutes roaming around waiting for the artist to arrive. Luckily the time flew by since we were easily entertained by one another. The consultation went by quickly and Hive account@flowerbaby will be getting the tattoo on December 23rd; two days before Christmas.

My favorite part of this morning was the comical gangsta walks we performed when we were leaving the central park and heading back to the tattoo shop. As you can see we both were being total idiots. Hive account@flowerbaby reminded me of a baby tornado 🌪. While I on the other hand modeled my walk after Ludacris in his iconic music video for his song “Stand Up”.

I’m thankful that I have somebody I can be myself with and enjoy every situation we encounter together. I’m thrilled that Hive account@flowerbaby has the desire to be tattooed like I am. She was already getting started before we met, but as time passes she continues to get closer and closer to having as many as I do. I’m proud of her for not complaining about the pain and having the courage to get the things that she likes tattooed on her body forever.
