I can remember back in 2007-08 when Kevin Love was playing college ball for UCLA and he was going up against WV-native OJ Mayo’s USC Trojans in the Pac-10 (now PAC-12). I was much more of a fan of Mayo, despite Love’s Bruins being the ones to make to the NCAA Tournament Final Four that year.
Both players only played one year of college basketball before heading to the NBA. I never owned a Mayo jersey, but did inherit my brother’s old powder blue jersey with Love across the back. I bought it for him when I finally had my first bit of money after dropping out of college. He eventually grew out of it and now it fits me.
I wore it this past weekend on a trip to Wal-Mart with to get her first oil change for her new Honda Civic. As soon as we pulled in to drop the car off, I saw the handicap parking spot and knew it was the perfect color combo to pose with my jersey and Retro 1 Jordan’s.
The results were just as I expected, DOPE! Shoutout to my amazing girl for always being willing to take photos no matter how many people are around. A lot of people are too worried about what others thing, but I know that I’m going to be sharing them here on #Hive. That is worth something to me, never too shy to get some cool pics for my blog here.
Do you think that the powder blue UCLA jerseys are one of the best colorways ever like father and I think?
What’s your favorite jersey of all-time? That’s a hard decision I know, even I cannot choose.
Thanks for checking out my blog 😎
Looking forward to another awesome weekend with . I’m sure we are going to do some awesome stuff and as always I will be sure to capture bits and pieces to share here with the world.
