The last time that and I went to the pool, we failed to get any photos of us in the water. This time around things were different.
I took advantage of my iPhone XS’s IP68 rating (maximum depth of 2 meters up to 30 minutes) and not only got photos of us in the water, but also underwater. It’s pretty crazy that I no longer have to worry about ruining my phone if it gets wet.
My Apple Watch Series 3 is hermetically sealed, so I wore it in the pool to keep track of my fitness activity. You can shower with the watch and swim with it in pools and the ocean, though at only shallow depths. There is a water option in the settings that will even blow the water out of the speakers once you finish swimming.
This allowed for some pretty awesome underwater photos. Although it’s a bit difficult to frame those photos since you can’t really see the screen underwater. We still got some cool ones, by using the volume button to take the photos.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
The pools are only open until the end of August here. So we won’t have very many more chances to go. Best to make the most of it while we can 🤩
