Hoy les quiero traer en este espacio una de las clases más interesantes que he tenido en mi transitar por la Academia de Cocina a la que asistí hace algún tiempo. La clase se llamaba Enología.

Debo acotar que yo me incorporé a mis clases una semana después de haber empezado las clases así que me sentía algo perdida pero rápidamente el Chef me hizo sentir en confianza pues desde un inicio fue muy respetuoso y sobre todo muy paciente conmigo y el grupo en general. Debo decir que uno de los maestros más maravillosos que he tenido en mi vida por los estudios en general, ha sido el Chef Salazar, él tiene esa capacidad única de inspirar al estudiante y hacerlo sentir seguro y capaz de comerse al mundo. A él, le debo mucho.

Por consiguiente, desde que entré a clases me sentí algo perdida pero tranquila pues el ambiente de clases siempre fue agradable, simpático y muy activo a pesar de que los primeros meses fueron de clases teóricas ya que debíamos saber y aprender primero las reglas del juego en una cocina y fuera de ella para luego empezar a prender fogones.

Una de las clases (la 6 ta.) se llamaba Enología y al principio no sabía de qué se trataba pero como es normal en mi, investigué inmediatamente para no estar perdida en clases y mi sorpresa fue que se trataba de licores, su estudio a profundidad y eso me generó mucha expectativa porque adoro el vino por ejemplo sobre todo el argentino, francés e italiano.

Desde el momento en que empezamos las clases nos dieron una copa a cada uno y empezamos a oler, sentir, probar y disfrutar de una selección de vinos que el Chef nos tenía preparado, Al principio no sabía distinguir sabores y olores pero a medida que fuimos avanzando, el Chef nos llevó a profundidades sensoriales inimaginables ayudado de sabores extras como quesos, jamones y lo mejor: música.
From the moment we started the classes they gave each of us a drink and we began to smell, feel, taste and enjoy a selection of wines that the Chef had prepared for us. La música jugó un papel fundamental porque nos tapó los ojos para que pudiéramos dejarnos llevar por el sonido, el sabor esplendido y el olor embriagante. Debo decir entonces, que fue maravillosa toda la experiencia porque me permitió abrir mis sentidos a nuevas sensaciones y sentirme muy bien sin necesidad de emborracharme. Le di un mejor y mayor sentido al hecho de tomar vino.
Music played a fundamental role because it covered our eyes so that we could let ourselves be carried away by the sound, the splendid taste and the intoxicating smell. I must say then, that the whole experience was wonderful because it allowed me to open my senses to new sensations and feel great without having to get drunk. I made drinking wine better and more meaningful.
La última parte de la clase fue super agradable hip! Hip! Jejejejeje ya que debíamos brindar y tomar más vino, es decir el final de la clase fue toda una celebración entre personas que tenían los mismos gustos y la misma alegría de estar en un lugar divino.
