We're back for another week, and we're not just celebrating a second year of being Epic Smile Makers, some of us are also just coming down from our Halloween hangovers! Despite being in a country more tuned to preparing for Christmas as the 'ber months rolled in, we still did get a long weekend out of Halloween-- just minus the parties and a lot less trick-or-treaters... Which made me curious on who you dressed up as this spooky season?? IMO if one doesn't want to invest too much in a costume, why not make up for it instead, like literally how Hive account@anymakeup came up with this awesome zombie pop art! A tight budget ain't getting in the way if you've got these skills! ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )
The earthy colors of Autumn may be just about ready to give way to the coolness of winter, so let's take our time enjoying the last wisps of wind these fall colors has to offer, which is why I greatly appreciate this art by Hive account@shaunf that perfectly captures that nostalgic feeling in the air, the woven-like brush strokes used here also adds to the vibe of being wrapped up in a real comfy wool cardigan to fight off the not-too cold breeze but enough to give you a slight shiver from the coming winter air. ∩(︶ ▽ ︶)∩
Another year where I've missed out on the pumpkin spiced lattes said to be quite the seasonal drinks, not really a fan of coffee myself but I guess that means I've got to make do with the ingredients we've got around here, which is the perfect time to experiment with this fruits and coffee combination as shared by Hive account@meilo1995. I'd buy if I could, but sadly this sort of mixes are an oddity still here, so I might be convinced to test out the taste of some freshly made cups of this! (⋆ˆ ³ ˆ)☆
With the incoming cold, some animals will be preparing for hibernation until Spring comes around, and this blooming season usually comes with it are babies-- teeny tiny animals newly born-- yet this fascinating pair of black bellied ducks as shared by Hive account@elentogether are ahead of their game with this adorable herd of ducklings! They're not just cute balls of fluff wobbling around their mama (and papa??), but I also find it lovely how they start of as these black floofs before growing up to be called black-bellied instead. (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀)
Talking about ducklings, have you ever seen baby pigeons before? I've grown up on the conspiracy that this urban birds are really sentient spy cameras, that's why you wouldn't know what they'd look like as hatchlings--- well, I guess that was debunked now that I've seen this fun pigeon loft as designed by Hive account@milverako ---aaand I'd also like to point out how OP's dedication in taking care of them deserves a round of applause! They literally start out here as eggs and bred to be fast flyers (and I'm hoping efficient mail carriers too..?), just look at how ready they are to spread their wings and be proud of their Pigeon Loft! ｰ(☆∀☆)/”
