Marceline Abadeer, tiene 1005 años aunque su apariencia aparenta entre 18 y 21 dependiendo de la temporada de la serie, es una mujer ⅓ Vampira ⅓ Demonio y ⅓ Humana … Complicado ¿cierto? Les cuento el porque ella es así:
Marceline es hija de Hunson Abadeer, rey de los demonios y gobernante de la Nocheosfera, la dimensión de los demonios, y de una humana cuyo nombre aún es desconocido pero en la serie la han mostrado un poco. Ahora, ya resolvimos ⅔ de lo que Marceline es… ahora ¿Qué pasa con el lado vampiro?
Marceline is daughter of Hunson Abadeer, King of the Demons and ruler of the Nightosphere, the dimension of demons, and a human whose name is still unknown but is shown in the series but just a little bit. Now, we just solved ⅔ of what is Marceline… But, what about the vampire part?
Gracias a la imagen notamos que ella fue mordida por un vampiro, y ¿Por qué la nombran «La Reina Vampiro»? Esto es algo que se respondió en una miniserie llamada «Estacas» donde en 8 capítulos nos cuentan que después de tantos años cinco enemigos mortales de Marceline regresan a la vida, entre ellos incluyen al Rey Vampiro, revelandonos que Marceline lo había asesinado y este la mordió (y en la miniserie lo volvió a hacer) quedándose con el título de rey. Desde los inicios de la serie nos explican que Marceline no consume sangre, sino que se alimenta de la esencia del color rojo… si, el color, pero el sol si la afecta obligandola a cubrirse, colocarse sombreros, bloqueador o usar sombrilla.
Además de ser aventurera, parecer muy fuerte y agresiva, ella es una chica bastante sentimental y tierna, lo demuestra mucho con sus posesiones especiales como lo es Hambo, un peluche en forma de… ¿oso? ¿mono? Es lindo es lo importante. También lo demuestra en sus canciones ya que ella es compositora, cantautora y multiinstrumentista, prefiere tocar con su Bajo-Hacha ya que también es una posesión especial, es una hacha de sus antepasados que ella misma transformó en bajo. aplausos, genia
Thanks to the image we can notice she was bitten by a vampire, but why do they call her “The Vampire Queen”? This is answered in a miniseries called “Stakes” where, in 8 episodes we are told how after many many years 5 mortal enemies of Marceline come back to life, among them the Vampire King, Marceline murder him in the past and he bit her ( in the miniseries he did it again) keeping the title of king. Since the beginnings of the series we are explained that Marceline doesn’t consume blood, instead of that she takes the esense of the color red… yeah, the color red, but the sun does affect her, making her cover herself , put on hats, sunscreen or umbrellas.
Besides being adventurous, appear really strong and aggressive, she’s a sentimental and cute girl (like franz… oh wait), she shows that with her especial possessions like Hambo, a bear?... monkey?... plush toy… It’s cute, that’s the important. She shows her soft side as well with her songs because she’s a composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist but she rather play her Ax Bass because it is a precious possession for her made from one of her ancestors’ axes that she turned into a bass applauses, genius
Como es mi personaje favorito, además de hacer esta bonita descripción, pondré varias curiosidades que me encantaría compartir sobre ella:
A- Ella como vampiro si puede recibir rayos del sol y no quemarse al usa bloqueador solar.no me pregunten, yo tampoco lo entiendo mucho
B- No estaba planeada como personaje principal, pero al notar la popularidad que ganó en los episodio que apareció le dieron más visibilidad e historia hasta volverla un personaje principal.
C- Ella tiene MUCHÍSIMOS OUTFITS Y CORTES DE CABELLO… es algo que me encanta de ella, puede existir capítulos donde repita corte o conjunto pero igual ¡TIENE MUCHOS! Mi meta de vida, es que algún día me los voy a poner todos, tal vez no hacer un cosplay exactamente, pero la ropa y sus combinaciones si, definitivamente si.
D- Ella es bisexual (lo mencionaron en una entrevista), en toda la serie nos muentran que tuvo un novio y al final se interesa y se queda con una chica.

C- She have A LOT OF OUTFITS AND HAIRCUTS… is something I love about her, you can see her repeating haircut and outfit in some episodes but still SHE HAVE A LOT! My goal in life is that I’ll try them all some day, maybe not cosplay exactly but all her clothes and combinations, yes, definitely yes!
D- She’s a bisexual (mentioned in a interview), in all the series we see her with a boyfriend but in the end she ends up with a gir

1- Everything Stays
Una canción hermosa que fue cantada por su mamá y ella recuerda con su bajo, habla de que todo se queda donde lo dejaste así pasen los años, pero puedes conseguirlo cambiado.
A beautiful song which was sung by her mother and she remembers it with her bass, it’s about how everything remains where you last left it, even if the years go by, but you can change it if you want to
2- Slow Dance with you
Canción corta que habla de que quiere bailar con «esa» persona y que no le importan los demás solo quiere tener un momento con «esa» persona.
A short song about wanting to dance with “that” person and how everyone else is non important, she just wants to have that moment with “that” person
3- Francis Forever
Esta es un cover de una canción de la cantante Mitski, habla del desespero de una persona que se siente invisible ante su persona especial.
This is a cover song by Mitski, it’s about the desperation of person feeling invisible for that special someone.
4- Not Just Your Little Girl
Es una canción super corta que Marceline canta con un Banjolele (Así llamaron este instrumento en la serie, y si escuchan la canción entenderán el porqué) que es como un mensaje de ella a su papá, diciéndole que ya creció ya no es más una niña pero igual lo respeta.
It’s a really short song Marceline sing with a Banjolele (that’s how they called this instrument in the series and if you listen to the song you’ll understand why) and it’s like a message from her to her dad, telling him she already grew up and is not a kid anymore but still she respects him.
5- I’m Just Your Problem
Una de sus canciones más largas, y reconocidas por los que han visto series animadas o por lo menos han visto algunos capitulos de Hora de Aventura. Habla de que se siente que es un problema para la Dulce Princesa (porque la letra no te oculta que es para ese personaje) que antes no tenía esos problemas con ella pero notó que su actitud cambió .super dramática
One of her longest songs, and recognized by fans of Adventure Time. It’s about her feeling like she’s a problem for Bubblegum Princess (because the lyrics don’t hide that is about her) and how she didn't have those problems before with her but she suddenly noticed a change in her attitude.super dramatic
