Flowers have begun to bloom, trees commenced to leaf. There have been earthquakes, tornados, and extreme highs this winter, coupled with unanticipated snows. Despite everything, spring arrives. A time of renewal, growth, and starting over. There is no stopping this thing called spring. Every time I take a breath; I can feel another flower blooming.

The most stunning get cheated in life. All beauty- no perfume.I want to say that that the scent is heavenly, but, the truth is, the blooms are precious and the scent is only in my mind. Speaking of which, tonight I was listening to music when I stopped for a moment and realized it was only in my head. Yikes.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.
The Naming of Cats
