I had a small drive to some little ponds that I know of. There is a particular area that the butterflies love, especially peacock butterflies.
The heather has just started to come out. I'm lucky that I don't live too far from the moorland.
The last time I was here it was a bit overgrown but this time I managed to get to see the lovely, pink lillies.
To say it was a small walk, I managed to get lost. I finally found the correct footpath after struggling through the heather for an hour. I have a poor sense of direction. I really shouldn't be allowed out on my own!
