A few more photos from my walk around Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottinghamshire.
We saw the longhorn cattle from the bird tower hide. They were enjoying carrying out their conservation grazing duties, although unfortunately, they all had their backs to us.
The weather was hot without a cloud in the sky. For photography purposes I do prefer a few white clouds.
I think this is a common blue damselfly, usually found near waters and on large lakes. It posed for awhile before it darted off.
Apple pie anyone?
