El día de ayer les comenté que estaría compartiendo con ustedes una serie de adornos navideños tejidos a crochet para que puedan hacerlos en casa y decores cualquier rincón con un toque navideño y especial.
Primero le compartí un tutorial de como hacer esos típicos caramelos de menta con diseño en espiral y hoy quiero compartir una variante de caramelos, pero que en este caso es un diseño cilíndrico en 3D. Un caramelo más estilo amigurumi que me han encantado y que he tejido en dos combinaciones, rojo con blanco y verde con blanco, que juntos se ven bastante navideños.
Estos llevan relleno y son un poco más trabajados, sin embargo el resultado es hermoso y vale la pena el esfuerzo. Sin más que agregar vayamos al paso a paso.

Yesterday I told you that I would be sharing with you a series of crocheted Christmas decorations so that you can make them at home and decorate any corner with a Christmas and special touch.
First I shared a tutorial on how to make those typical spiral design peppermint candies and today I want to share a variant of candies, but in this case it is a cylindrical 3D design. A more amigurumi-style candy that I have loved and that I have knitted in two combinations, red with white and green with white, which together look quite Christmassy.
These have padding and are a bit more worked, however the result is beautiful and worth the effort. Without further ado, let's go step by step.

Te cuento un poco como es el tejido: vamos a hacer un rectángulo de varias franjas de colores en el que haremos aumentos en uno de los lados y disminuciones en el otro, por lo que nos quedará un rectángulo con lados en diagonal, más adelante podrás ver a lo que me refiero.
Primero hacemos un nudo corredizo, tejemos 14 cadenetas + 1 para elevar la vuelta.
I will tell you a little about the fabric: we are going to make a rectangle of several colored stripes in which we will make increases on one side and decreases on the other, so we will have a rectangle with diagonal sides, later you can see what i mean.
First we make a slip knot, we chain 14 chains + 1 to raise the round.
Damos vuelta al tejido y en la segunda cadena vamos a tejer dos puntos bajos, este es el primero de los aumentos. De este lado del tejido solo se harán aumentos.
Tejemos el resto de las cadenas en puntos bajos y en los dos últimos puntos haremos una disminución, tejiendo dos puntos bajos cerrados por la misma lazada.
We turn the fabric and in the second chain we are going to knit two single crochets, this is the first of the increases. Only increases will be made on this side of the fabric.
We knit the rest of the chains in single crochets and in the last two stitches we will make a decrease, knitting two single crochets closed by the same loop.
A partir de la segunda vuelta todos los puntos los tejeremos tomando únicamente la parte de atrás del punto, esto nos dará ese efecto zigzag en el tejido.
Damos vuelta al tejido y hacemos una cadeneta, continuamos haciendo una disminución, como les comenté, siempre que lleguemos a este lado del tejido haremos disminuciones. Seguimos con puntos bajos y al llegar al último punto vamos a hacer dos puntos bajos sobre la misma cadena.
Son dos vueltas de cada color, al llegar al final hacemos el cambio de color terminando el último punto con el nuevo color, tal como lo muestro en la foto.
From the second round on, we will knit all the stitches taking only the back part of the stitch, this will give us that zigzag effect in the fabric.
We turn the fabric and make a chain, we continue making a decrease, as I mentioned, whenever we get to this side of the fabric we will make decreases. We continue with single crochets and when we reach the last stitch we are going to make two single crochets on the same chain.
There are two rounds of each color, at the end we make the color change finishing the last point with the new color, as I show in the photo.
Haremos dos vueltas de cada color para un total de 6 capas. Como verás el tejido luce en diagonal como te comenté anteriormente. Ahora vamos a unir ambos extremos, haciendo puntos deslizados por todo el borde hasta unir el color blanco con el verde.
We will make two rounds of each color for a total of 6 layers. As you will see, the fabric looks diagonally as I mentioned earlier. Now we are going to join both ends, making slipped points along the entire edge until the white color is joined with the green one.
Nos quedará un cilindro. Ahora cosemos con hilo uno de los extremos y damos vuelta al tejido.
We will have one cylinder left. Now we sew one of the ends with thread and turn the fabric.
Rellenamos el caramelo con algodón sintético o puedes tomar todos los restos de hilos y rellenarlo con ellos.
Yo siempre voy cortando estos excedentes y guardándolos en una pequeña bolsa para usarlos como relleno. Una manera de darles una segunda utilidad.
Cerramos el otro lado y ya tenemos el centro del caramelo.
We fill the caramel with synthetic cotton or you can take all the thread scraps and fill it with them.
I always cut up these surpluses and keep them in a small bag to use as a filler. A way to give them a second utility.
We close the other side and we already have the center of the candy.
Para los datos del caramelo he tejido en color verde un anillo mágico y sobre el 5 cadenetas. Luego 6 puntos altos triples. Tiramos del hilo de pase y cortamos los excedentes de hilo.
Repetimos el proceso para hacer los dos lados.
For the candy data I have woven a magic ring in green and chain 5 on it. Then 6 triple treble crochets. We pull the passing yarn and cut the excess yarn.
We repeat the process to make the two sides.
Para finalizar, cosemos ambas partes al centro del caramelo y ya queda listo. Las combinaciones de colores ya dependen de tus gustos, y bueno estos caramelos los puedes colocar en cualquier rincón de tu casa al que le haga falta un toque navideño. ♥
To finish, we sew both parts to the center of the candy and is ready. The color combinations already depend on your tastes, and well these candies can be placed in any corner of your house that needs a Christmas touch. ♥
