Esta es la historia, bien chistosa por cierto, de como compré una cámara profesional por 45$ en junio del año pasado y que hasta hace un día pudimos utilizarla.
En mi urbanización existe un grupo de WhatsApp para ventas y el año pasado mientras revisaba las publicaciones de otras personas me topé con esta linda cámara.
Para aquel entonces el Hive estaba un poco alto y yo había estado ahorrando comprando dólares en efectivo. (esto para evitar que mis ganancias bajaran y que pues acá no se puede ahorrar en bolívares como ya todos sabemos).
Siempre he pensado que si voy a gastar mis ahorros tiene que ser en algo que vaya a generarme algo o sea una herramienta de trabajo que me permita recuperar dicho gasto. Compras inteligentes.
Este era uno de esos casos y sin muchas esperanzas de poderla comprar pregunté a la muchacha el costo.
Para mi sorpresa me dijo 45$ 😱. Esta era una cámara que valía al menos 180$. ¿Por qué tan económica?
This is the story, quite funny by the way, of how I bought a professional camera for $45 in June of last year and that until a day ago we were able to use it.
In my urbanization there is a WhatsApp group for sales and last year while I was reviewing other people's publications I came across this beautiful camera.
By then the Hive was a bit high and I had been saving by buying cash dollars. (this to prevent my earnings from going down and because here you can't save in bolivars as we all know).
I have always thought that if I am going to spend my savings it has to be on something that is going to generate something for me or be a work tool that allows me to recover said expense. Smart shopping.
This was one of those cases and without much hope of being able to buy it, I asked the girl the cost.
To my surprise she told me her 45$ 😱. This was a camera worth at least $180. Why so cheap?
Pregunté si tenía algún detalle y me dijeron que no, que la vendían porque necesitaban el dinero y efectivamente cuando la trajeron a la casa para confirmar la compra, estaba en muy buen estado.
Gastamos todos los ahorros pero quedamos maravillados. Al cabo de un rato de estar revisando y tomando fotos de prueba la cámara se apagó y no quiso prender más. 😰
Se veía bien por fuera, pero al verificar la batería estaba algo hinchada y pegada con cinta plástica. La batería se les había dañado y habían hecho una improvisada con una batería de celular en el interior de la misma. 🤦🏻♀️
Ok, existían esperanzas de que estuviera bien, solo que le hacía falta una pila. Comenzamos la búsqueda, pero en Venezuela es algo complicado encontrar un sitio donde vendan equipos para cámaras y dónde conseguimos la pila costaba una sola en 25$.
I asked if they had any details and they told me no, that they were selling it because they needed the money and indeed when they brought it to the house to confirm the purchase, it was in very good condition.
We spent all the savings but we were amazed. After a while of reviewing and taking test photos, the camera turned off and did not want to turn on anymore. 😰
It looked fine on the outside, but when I checked the battery it was a bit swollen and stuck with plastic tape. The battery had been damaged and they had made an improvised one with a cell phone battery inside it. 🤦🏻♀️
Ok, there was hope that it was okay, it just needed a battery. We started the search, but in Venezuela it is somewhat difficult to find a place that sells camera equipment and where we got the battery, it cost only $25.
Yo tengo una tía que vive en Houston que constantemente envía cajas de comida para mi abuela. El año pasado en el mes de noviembre le envié el dinero para que me hiciera el favor de pedirla por Amazon y enviarla en alguna de esas cajas.
Conseguí una oferta buenísima que traía dos baterías y su cargador por 11.99$. Muchísimo mejor que la oferta que les mencioné anteriormente.
Mi tía la pidió y al cabo de 3 días ya estaba en su casa. Mi emoción no era normal. Pero ahora debía esperar que ella pudiera enviarlas porque con todo esto de navidad y año nuevo lo que menos pensó fue en enviarlas. 😔
I have an aunt who lives in Houston who constantly sends boxes of food for my grandmother. Last year in November I sent him the money so he could do me the favor of ordering it through Amazon and sending it in one of those boxes.
I got a great deal that included two batteries and their charger for $11.99. Much better than the offer that I mentioned before.
My aunt asked for it and after 3 days she was already at her house. My emotion was not normal. But now she had to hope that she could send them because with all this Christmas and New Year, the last thing she thought about was sending them. 😔
Hace como 10 días le escribí para saber que había pasado con el envío. Ya estábamos casi terminando enero y no sabía nada de ella. Me comentó que había una prima que viajaría pronto a Venezuela y que le había llevado las cosas a su casa para que las trajera hasta acá.
Las recibió otra tía en su casa y ayer fuimos mi hijo y yo a buscarlas. Las probamos y la cámara sirvió. 🙌✨
Todo venía bien empacado, en buenas condiciones. Realmente la oferta traía lo que prometía pues eran las dos pilas, el cargador y un cable para conectar el mismo a la PC o algún cargador con puerto USB.
Las pilas traían sus protectores y todo estaba de maravilla.
About 10 days ago I wrote to him to find out what had happened with the shipment. We were almost at the end of January and I didn't know anything about her. She told me that there was a cousin who would soon travel to Venezuela and that she had brought her things to her house so that she could bring them here.
She received them from another aunt at her house and yesterday my son and I went to look for them. We tried them and the camera did the trick. 🙌✨
Everything came well packed, in good condition. The offer really brought what it promised because they were the two batteries, the charger and a cable to connect it to the PC or a charger with a USB port.
The batteries brought their protectors and everything was wonderful.
Esperamos todos estos meses con mucha paciencia y fe. Todo resultó de maravilla y tenemos ahora una cámara hermosa con la que podremos producir mucho material y capturar momentos especiales de nuestras vidas. Además es una excelente fuente de trabajo porque podemos hacer de estás algo más profesional en eventos o hacer sesiones.
Ahora solo nos resta practicar mucho y aprender a manejarla muy bien. Próximamente les estaré compartiendo muchas fotografía. Estoy muy ansiosa y feliz por este gran logro y agradezco enormemente a todos los que han apoyado mi blog porque todo esto es posible gracias a ustedes. 😊❤️
We wait all these months with a lot of patience and faith. Everything turned out great and we now have a beautiful camera with which we will be able to produce a lot of material and capture special moments in our lives. It is also an excellent source of work because we can make you more professional at events or sessions.
Now we just have to practice a lot and learn to handle it very well. Soon I will be sharing many photographs. I am very anxious and happy for this great achievement and I greatly appreciate all those who have supported my blog because all this is possible thanks to you. 😊❤️
