Caminando en Atenas, Grecia // Walking in Athens, Greece

Hola a todos! No nos podíamos ir de Grecia sin antes conocer su capital Atenas, dónde además de probar cosas deliciosas también visitamos lugares lindos, y que verán a lo largo de este post, pero empecemos desde el principio, es decir, desde que llegamos al aeropuerto de Atenas y dónde a la salida tomamos un autobús para ir hasta el centro de la ciudad. Los boletos los compramos allí afuera del aeropuerto, y costó 5,50 euros cada uno, con un recorrido de aproximadamente 1 hora.

Hello everyone! We couldn't leave Greece without first getting to know its capital Athens, where in addition to trying delicious things we also visited beautiful places, and which you will see throughout this post, but let's start from the beginning, that is, from when we arrived at the Athens airport and where at the exit we take a bus to go to the center of the city. We bought the tickets there outside the airport, and it cost 5.50 euros each, with a journey of approximately 1 hour.

Llegamos al centro y fuimos en busca de nuestro hospedaje para dejar nuestras mochilas pues están estaban bastante pesadas y queríamos ir a caminar lo suficiente y por supuesto las mochilas nos iban a cansar. Al primer lugar que llegamos fue al Barrio Monastiraki y abajo les muestro todo lo que vimos allí.

We arrived at the center and went in search of our lodging to leave our backpacks because they were quite heavy and we wanted to walk enough and of course the backpacks were going to tire us. The first place we arrived was the Monastiraki neighborhood and below I show you everything we saw there.

Este es algo así como un mercado donde encuentras diversas cosas, desde frutas, muchos souvenirs diferentes y de todo tipo jajaja, sombreros, ropa y hasta postres deliciosos cómo unas cocadas que probamos y que estaban realmente deliciosas. Tuvimos la oportunidad de pasar de noche por aquí y es tan espectacular porque los jóvenes se reúnen allí para poner música y bailar.

This is something like a market where you find various things, from fruits, many different souvenirs of all kinds lol, hats, clothes and even delicious desserts like some cocadas that we tried and that were really delicious. We had the opportunity to spend the night here and it is so spectacular because young people gather there to play music and dance.

Seguimos caminando y para entonces ya teníamos mucha hambre, así que estábamos buscando un buen lugar para comer, y en el camino encontramos un lugar tan lindo lleno de muchas flores, sombrillas y también imágenes de los personajes de esos cuentos que veía cuando ponía, en el centro ponía Little Kook y está ubicado en el barrio Psiri.

We kept walking and by then we were very hungry, so we were looking for a good place to eat, and on the way we found such a nice place full of many flowers, umbrellas and also pictures of the characters from those stories that I saw when I put, on the center put Little Kook and is located in the Psiri neighborhood.

En ese lugar hay una tienda con muchos muñecos, también una cafetería donde venden deliciosos postres y los chicos que atienden estaban vestidos de personajes de cuentos lo cual me parecía espectacular y entre otras cosas pero ahora vamos al restaurante que está cerca de allí porque ya teníamos mucha hambre.

In that place there is a store with many dolls, also a cafeteria where they sell delicious desserts and the boys who attend were dressed as storybook characters which seemed spectacular to me and among other things but now we go to the restaurant that is near there because we already had very hungry.

Un restaurante con una vista espectacular, llamado Sabbas, además con precios buenos, allí comimos una Musaka que es como una lasaña de berenjenas y también un kebab de carne con una rica salsa de yogurt para compartir entre nosotros, la verdad es que la comida no fue la mejor, pero estaba buena.

A restaurant with a spectacular view, called Sabbas, also with good prices, there we ate a Musaka which is like an aubergine lasagna and also a meat kebab with a rich yogurt sauce to share between us, the truth is that the food is not It was the best, but it was good.

Y por supuesto que no me podía ir de Atenas sin antes probar el baklava (un postre extremadamente delicioso) y que les va a encantar, créanme cuando se los digo pero se los recomiendo con helado, pues también venden sin este. Nosotros fuimos a probarlo en el restaurante de postres llamado Nancy's y de verdad lleven muchas ganas de comer dulce porque se van a empalagar incluso te sirven una botella de agua en la mesa.

And of course I couldn't leave Athens without first trying the baklava (an extremely delicious dessert) and you're going to love it, believe me when I tell you but I recommend it with ice cream, because they also sell without it. We went to try it at the dessert restaurant called Nancy's and really want to eat sweets because they are going to make you sick, they even serve you a bottle of water at the table.
