Hello friends, I tell you that today has been a great day, because as I have already told you, we are in Apure specifically on the border with Colombia, spending a few days with my family, and this morning we get up very early to go to Arauca (Colombia) to do some errands my sister
and I plus an aunt.
We left home early so that time would surrender, and we crossed the border by canoe and in my sister's profile you will find the details of that, the sun was very strong but it was a fun day doing errands with my aunt with whom we had a good time .
I decided to take photos to show you a little of my walk through the streets of Arauca where we took a long time since there were many errands, but to have fun for a while I took photos in almost all the places to show you a little how the situation is here.
We left well prepared, with our respective masks and alcohol, although in fact in almost all the open businesses there was a sink or antibacterial at the entrance and you had to apply that to be able to enter and also well had breakfast because we had to walk a lot.
The shops were well stocked, and the people were very attentive offering their products, there were many people selling coffee or juices in the streets, and in the square there were also quite a lot of people, the streets were also well painted.
The good thing about Arauca is that people respect the traffic signs and wait for the green light of the traffic light to move forward (something that many people do not respect in my country), and most of the people ride a motorcycle because gasoline is very expensive . After finding out a few things with my aunt, we decided to go to the El Discount supermarket to buy some things where the prices were quite affordable, some were even cheaper than in my country.
In the supermarket we saw some Vikingo's brand tuna and I couldn't stop thinking about the challenge of the Makeup Power community, after there we went to buy some vegetables and a soft drink since we were very thirsty because we had been walking all this way and as I told you the sun was very strong.
After finishing the shopping, we took a taxi since we could not take it anymore, we were already tired of walking, and I tell you that the taxis had a plastic paper in the middle but the driver was very attentive and of course smiling because he did not refuse to I will take the photo until I wanted to be in it.
We got out of the taxi and had to take another canoe to return, and it was incredible to see even women offering to help carry merchandise to the people who were going to cross, I had already seen men, but not women and what courage and strength they have.
And well, that was the whole ride from there we got off the canoe and returned home by motorcycle, because here in the town people ride a lot on motorcycles, but it is the best because it is a small town and you already know that gasoline is limited. I hope you liked our tours in Colombia, in other posts I will continue to tell you more about this trip.
