Hoy quiero traer esta pequeña sesión de grabación que tuve, probando melodías en Eb Major que es una mis tonalidades favoritas.
También quise hacer este ritmo bastante dancehall o bailable con toques africanos porque quería hacerlo un poco como fue mi primer video subido grabado tocando el Cuatro. Recuerdo que fue en el mismo lugar y también quería hacer algo sencillo basado en melodías sin tanta variación pero con mucha más importancia a la hora de improvisar, entonces como sabía que este tipo de ritmos se me da bastante bien quise explotarlo un poco más.
Después de haber grabado y arreglado el beat al final pensé que esto le podía ir bien una vocal de fondo, así que me animé tomé el micrófono y volví a improvisar melodías en Eb Major esta vez con mi voz para que tuviera una atmósfera más fresca y no tan plana con solo melodías y acordes, sino también algo de Autotune y reverb para suavizar un poco el vibe.
Sin mucho más que agregar espero disfruten de la música y en los próximos días, traeré más por acá.
Today I want to bring this little recording session I had, trying out melodies in Eb Major which is one of my favorite keys.
I also wanted to make this rhythm quite dancehall or danceable with African touches because I wanted to make it a little bit like my first uploaded video recorded playing the Cuatro. I remember it was in the same place and I also wanted to do something simple based on melodies without so much variation but with much more importance when it comes to improvising, so as I knew that this type of rhythms I am quite good at, I wanted to exploit it a little more.
After recording and arranging the beat at the end I thought that this could go well with a background vocal, so I took the microphone and improvised again melodies in Eb Major this time with my voice to have a fresher atmosphere and not so flat with just melodies and chords, but also some Autotune and reverb to soften the vibe a little.
