My impression of Bangladesh is that most problems of underdevelopment are result of an issue called "Brain Drain" due to the past Pakistani persecution against intellectuals in the country, leaving only (most)people with lower education alone. The result was a lack of educators and "smart" professionals among Bangladeshis, causing great dependency on foreign intellectuals while leaving the country severely uneducated.
Since the lack of "smart people" in a country cause it to be poorly administrated in both governmental and in the private sector, those fortunate enough to get good education there tend to leave the country to build their lives as immigrant in foreign lands, making the country of origin lose their valuable educated citizens so necessary to fix the problem that caused them to leave the country in the first place. Another aspect of the "Brain Drain" issue.
Recent news show education there is improving and I hope it continues to do so. The whole world can benefit by having another nation to contribute to the human knowledge build up.
As I said, those are my opinions. It was not my intention to offend anyone that might feel disrespected.
