Morose Midlife Emergence Day, Running Numbers, Winch, UFC

Yesterday was nice and sunny but I spent my day inside. I have grown to rather dislike the yearly reminder of aging and this year is especially frustrating. Other years I have gone skiing or camping or done something fun but the current state of disrepair my body is in precludes my doing much of anything.

The enraging eczema is seemingly ever present now and rolls through waves of varying severity. Now that I am done with the antibiotic course I am likely going to have to go back to the prednisone to try and manage this garbage systemically. Topical only helps so much.

Since even the most basic of pleasures, eating, was not possible I focused on building up my cost sheet for this year. April will be school and likely the wing setup but the winch is going to have to wait a bit unless I can manage to cobble together enough funds to make it happen sooner.

I have been scouring for info on building winches for towing aloft but found one that is being produced for a VERY reasonable price. The Minne is amazing and hooks up to a trailer hitch on the back of a vehicle. He has a long range remote that allows solo use of the winch. The spool holds a km of line which would allow for gaining up to a 1000 feet of elevation. This is going to be my ticket to flying everyday possible without having to hike anywhere or drive far from home.

UFC 284 was on from Australia and there were a number of pretty good fights. No two belt champion this time around.

Watched Man Utd win their match and go into 2nd but city might pass them. Kraken play early and the stupor bowl is a sure miss this year. I look forward to finally being able to eat again.
