Another mostly sunny day yesterday was putting off serious spring vibes, at least once it warmed up to the low 40s F. The bulk of the morning was spent on a multitude of small tasks in preparation for our journey. I was able to work on my lessons and get them out of the way for the day.
By mid day I had most of my clothes and various things packed or staged to pack. I love these soft cases that work superb for compartmentalizing the various clothing items and makes it super easy to pack the bag.
I wanted to have the puzzle finished before we go so the table isn't up and not possible to get knocked over by the dog. Once the boys were home from school J ended up getting the last 40 or so pieces put in which made it a 5 day puzzle.
I was not able to get the bale into the sheep as my boots had to dry out after an incident the other night. They are good today so I will get the bale rolled in for them. I got the boys fed early before practice then had them there a few minutes early while there was only a handful of kids there so far. I was able to get a solid hour+ of more packing activities around the house while they wrestled.
Today I am late with this as all the packing activities are taking priority. Man Utd is play Barcelona now as I am scatteredly getting things done. I made a lock lanyard for the gas can and found the boys' headphones buried in their rooms (we DO NOT want to hear the Nintendo sounds the whole trip). The bale will get rolled in soon, I have a huge batch of tortillas to make, the fridge needs to get emptied of old stuff and tossed to the birds, more packing and staging,
