The next day the finance minister was tried for embezzling from the crown and imprisoned in the most remote prison in France. He spent his days locked up until his death.
King Louis XIV was an egomaniac and always wanted to be the center of attention. Seeing a minister being the center of everyone's attention, he prosecuted him on charges he had not committed, just to get him out of the way. Feeling threatened by his charm, he banishes him. Nicolas fouquet only wanted to impress his king but his movements lacked neatness and the dream party in the morning turned into a real nightmare.
Galileo galilei was an Italian mathematician, philosopher and astronomer, but at the time of 1600 his finances were not outstanding, he gave his inventions to his masters as military compasses for dukes but his retribution would only be students, gifts and food this had him generally tied hands and dependent on his rulers. Galileo saw an idea that would change everything, focusing more on the Medici rulers of the time, he spotted the moons of Jupiter with his telescope, the moons of Jupiter. Intertwining the kings as divine with such greatness that each one symbolized each moon being King Cosimo I the first moon and the 3 in reference to his 3 brothers. This consecrated him in the eyes of the rulers as an astronomer and an outstanding man obtaining fame and a comfortable life for a scientist.
Galileo considered getting more than just gifts, getting an idea that would consecrate him to the sight of his superiors by showing them what they wished to see. And get the idea that they were only comparable to the very planets and their universe. By being astute he reached the pinnacle of power. And enriching his life. Giving something to satisfy a whole dynasty of rulers.
How interesting how he can infuriate and please his superiors. This law leaves us a clear objective. To gain the trust of those above to get sooner or later in that place or whatever one wants. And the human will always want power. You have to be cunning in this game. Because if you slip like fouquet there will be no opportunity to remedy their mistakes. While it is important to make them look smarter and not to show off your skills, it is important to know when to attack with your skills. By making master moves you will be able to know if your boss is very vulnerable and only with your charisma and attitudes you will be able to overshadow them. But there is a fine line here. Knowing who to impose yourself on will be the key to take over your objectives.
