Érase una vez un gato llamado Jerry, de color negro como la noche, ojos muy grandes y un rabo muy peludo, que vive en un hogar donde recibe mucho amor de sus dueños, lo acarician y lo miman mucho. Pero Jerry se sentía muy sólo, no tenía amigos. Siempre miraba por la ventana los demás gatos de la calle y deseaba poder salir y jugar con ellos, pero no lo dejaban sus dueños
Un día su dueña llevó un pequeño lorito llamado Loreto a vivir con ellos en la casa, estaba en una pequeña jaula que colocaron mirando hacia la ventana del jardín. Al lorito le gustaba mucho hablar y cantar, lo que molestaba mucho a Jerry ya que no lo dejaba dormir sus siestas.

One day its owner took a small parrot named Loreto to live with them in the house, it was in a small cage that they placed facing the garden window. The little parrot liked to talk and sing a lot, which bothered Jerry a lot since he wouldn't let him take his naps.
Jerry miraba desde abajo la jaula de lorito y muchas veces sintió la necesidad de comerse a Loreto, era su instinto animal, los gatos comen aves. Una mañana intentó trepar a la jaula para atrapar a Loreto pero por mucho que lo intentó no pudo llegar a la jaula, ya que estaba muy alta. Loreto se burlaba de él y siempre lo molestaba.
Jerry looked at the parrot cage from below and many times felt the need to eat Loreto, it was his animal instinct, cats eat birds. One morning he tried to climb the cage to catch Loreto but no matter how hard he tried, he could not reach the cage, since it was very high. Loreto made fun of him and always annoyed him.
Un día en la mañana Jerry salió al jardín a jugar, cuando de repente el perro del vecino saltó la reja y salió a perseguirlo, Jerry corrió muy asustado y no encontraba donde esconderse. Loreto veía desde la ventana lo que sucedía y comenzó a gritar ¡auxilio! ¡auxilio! , sus dueños se percataron que algo sucedía y al mirar al patio vieron a Jerry tratando de esconderse, fueron en su ayuda y lo salvaron de ser mordido por el perro.
Loreto le salvó la vida a Jerry y desde ese día se hicieron amigos inseparables, no importa si son diferentes, ellos se aceptan como son, un gato y un pequeño lorito.
One day in the morning Jerry went out to the garden to play, when suddenly the neighbor's dog jumped the fence and went to chase him, Jerry ran very scared and there was nowhere to hide. Loreto saw what was happening from the window and began to shout help! Help! , his owners realized that something was happening and when they looked at the patio they saw Jerry trying to hide, they came to his aid and saved him from being bitten by the dog.
Loreto saved Jerry's life and from that day on they became inseparable friends, it doesn't matter if they are different, they accept each other as they are, a cat and a little parrot.
