Yesterday was the first day of this year that I observed fireflies in the city of Wauwatosa. Supposedly the name of the city means “firefly.” What better name for this drawing, I thought, than Wauwatosa?

For this drawing I used my Noodler's Triple Tail fountain pen, visible in the progress shot I took right after signing the work, with Bernanke Black ink and Arteza colored pencils on Rhodia paper.
