Hola a toda la comunidad, muchos pacientes me han cosultado cual tipo de corona fija sería la adecuada según su caso y podría presentarle varias opciones pero en algunos caso la estética tendría el 100% si se encuentra la ausencia en el sqector anterior y otro por su funcionabilidad.

Se han trabajdo con materiales para darles a las coronas un aspecto altamente estético y que seana resistente al desgaste y que no sea corrosiva.

En la actualidad se esta trabajando con otros metales mas estéticos como el zirconio y disilicato, las coronas anteriormente se realizaban sobre cofias de metal de una aleación niquel-titanio, y se coloca la porcelana del color indicado, estas eran la que normalmente se utilizaban.

Mi recomendación sería, si la ausencia es la parte anterior hasta el primer premolar utilizaría coronas de zirconio o disilicato, en cambio en posterior una metal-porcelana tradicional primero que por ser posterior esta más sometido a choques masticatorios, si el paciente lo prefiere se puede colocar en posterior igual son resistente la única desventaja es que es más costoso.

My recommendation would be, if the absence is the anterior part until the first premolar I would use zirconium or disilicate crowns, instead in posterior a traditional metal-porcelain first that for being posterior is more subject to masticatory shocks, if the patient prefers it can be placed in posterior even they are resistant the only disadvantage is that it is more expensive.
