It is true when they say good health of mind and body is underrated until you start experiencing your health failing you. People go through a lot this days and still hide it with a smile on their lips, the present situation of things that affect the environment has in one way or the affected all and sundry. Some people often fall sick and get better with the use of drugs while other get sick one a while and when this happens, it is a serious health condition.
In all, it is important to place priority on our health, make you don't take symptoms likely and find solutions as quick as possible. Truly, health is wealth. There are news of people defiling their health challenges and struggling to get work done, it gets worse and they die, activities at the work place continues after a condolence visit.
Staying healthy most times is literally in the hands of the individual. Some people are actually the cause of their health issues. Staying in dirty environment can cause or breed mosquitoes that cause malaria. Drinking dirty water from unclean places and so on can cause typhoid. Smoke Indian hemp, cocaine or whatever type of drugs is harmful to the body system. Lack of proper ventilation in a room, entering dirty water, drinking excessive alcohol, placing sharp objects carelessly etc. As you can see these circumstances that affect the health of a person can be avoided.
The simple way I try to keep healthy before anything else is taking clean water early mornings and plenty during the day. A small exercise is also necessary to stimulate the body and build up the necessary parts of the body, thus, helping with immunity to fight against disease. Take of the necessary vitamins especially vitamin c is paramount. Also, when it is possible I take fruits as it is said that a fruit a day keeps the doctor away not only apples.
Another important aspect of keeping safe is by eating healthy, balanced diet. Somehow I notice that most Nigerians feed on carbs and disregard other healthy meals vegetables should be added to meal plans as they contains most nutrients as iron, potassium, etc.
In all, it is important to stay healthy because we do not like the implications of breaking down when we have lots of things to accomplish. And even if we break down, do well to take care of yourself first. Regular check up with the doctors is not a bad thing to do.
