A day with a very special numerology 9-7-97. Yes, on July 9th, 1997, this car accident occurred. At 3 pm, in the General Hospital Dr. José Ignacio Baldó commonly called "El Algodonal", located in Caracas, Venezuela.
The car was a taxi driven by an old man, in the car was a lady of about 60 years old, and a pregnant lady of about 20 years old, the lady was in the process of giving birth, she was about to give birth. They were on their way to the hospital when suddenly a white car came speeding in front of the blue taxi car they were in.
The impact was inevitable; the car was compressed like an accordion between two cars, between the white car and the brown car that came behind the blue car they were in. The steering wheel was embedded in the driver's abdomen, he could not get out of the car, the old lady hit her head, she was in shock, she was not very aware of the seriousness of the situation, she broke her arm and some teeth. The pregnant woman was unconscious, trapped in the seat, full of glass. How would her baby be about to be born?
The paramedics, pedestrians, police, and traffic prosecutors arrived to help the wounded. With special machines they opened the doors, stretched out the car a little, so that they could get the wounded out, those in the white car were thieves who had stolen that car from a man and were running away at full speed through the wrong channel, that's why they are facing the blue car. And because of the impact, they collide with the car behind.
They took the three of them out of the blue car, the old lady was taken to Miguel Perez Carreño Hospital, the man did not let himself be attended to, he did not let himself be taken to any hospital, he was the conscious person who could explain what happened, and the pregnant woman on the floor, unconscious, did not react, some thought she was dead or that she was almost dead, in the hospital there was no equipment for X-rays, tomography to see how she and her baby were doing.
In an ambulance she was taken to the University Clinical Hospital, there she was attended, she had polytraumatism, but she did not react, they did not do a cesarean section, they left her waiting, to see if she would react or die, around 10:30 pm the contractions returned and in a state of semi-consciousness, her baby struggled to be born, she was attended to and gave birth at 10:55 pm.
It is a miracle that everyone was saved from that tragic accident.
