This is my story about the most amazing trekking that i made in Patagonia, Argentina. I am argentinian, and Patagonia is my favourite place in my country. It is full of mountains -up to 3000 meters- , lakes and old magical forests. The births, the pumas and the king of the air the Condor, makes this place such an amazing landscape.
I always use to do some trekkings in the mountains in Patagonia, but this 5 lakes trekking always was a debt. You need to prepare yourself mentally, phisically and all the logistic , food, equipment and more to survive for 7 seven days in case of some problem. So you can imagine , my bagpack was huhe - with 19 kg total weight. I was alone the first day and i need to do a 14 km trekking from the village of Colonia Suiza to the first refugge called Laguna Negra.
So i am there, at the middle of the trekking with my legs in good shape and fresh. But the worst and steppy part was waiting for me. I had to walk more than 7 km in a sharp and steppi road, full of rocks and with 19 kg in my bagpack, full of food for the seven days that i need.
I met some people in the steepy part of the trekking and most of them was just going 1 night to the refugge so they were really light, with no 19 kg in their legs. In one moment i suddenly feels like really bad, and couldnt even walk one step more, so i left my bagpack in the middle of the road, and just lied in the floor for 10 minutes. People saw me and they ask me if i was ok, and i said yes, but my face said another thing to them.
The view was better and better when i climb the meters. But it was really difficult this first part of the trip. Anyway it deserves the sacrifice because this trekking maybe was the best adventure that i had in the mountains. It takes me 6 hours and a half to complete this 14 kms trekking. The last part it was the hardest one. But when i was close the mountain give me this amazing reward.
The big mountain is called the black Rock mountain. It seems a huge old dragon in the nights watching everithing from the altitude.
The green valley was behind me and from the altitute i could see other big and beauty mountains all arround me.
And finally i arrived to the Laguna Negra Refugge, with this awesome lake in front of me. It was really hard but it deserves every effort that i made.
This view is a dreamed one, and every day in the big city i want to be there surrounded by the sky and the rocks.
And in the night i went to the refugge because i needed to ifnd some partners to take the road to the others lakes because to make it alone it is really dangerous.

I hope you like the first part of my five lakes adventure. Tomorrow i will writte the second part of three. It was an amazing trip with great people and a big effort mentally and phisically talking, but EPIC.
