Last episode of this adventure
I really enjoy writting and sharing this adventure with you. Its great to engage again with all friends and new ones. People in Hive is thousands more nice than in other social media platforms. This will be my last post about my adventure in Patagonia so i hope that you enjoy it.
Cerro los cristales
We were sleeping in Cerro cristales, and after that we have three more lakes in front of us. First Laguna Creton, then laguna azul and jujuy and after that our last one laguna ilón. We had to walk 30 kms in two more days of walking but we felt prepared for that. We were in the middle of the mountains in cerro Cristales and it was impossible to go back , so we have to continue.
We woke up really early that day at arround 7 am, and we started to walk. After two hours climbinf an steepy road, we reached the summit of cerro cristales and what we see just stop our breath. We saw the Tronador mountain far away , but in all his huge presence. we took some pictures and some juice and then we had to go down the hill.
I dont want to exagerate but that descendent road was the hardest of all the adventure. We had to do step by step taking care of every rock that we touch with our feets. One step in the wrong rock and you was out of the adventure. So we take like two hours in that road. After that we arrive to another valley with a small wetland, that we cross really fast without any problem, and then we arrive to Laguna Cretón and some amazing waterfalls, the most beautifulls that i saw there.

All the group was really happy of our rithm and we feel really light without few kg less in our bags and in our body also. The landscapes give us the energy that we need to overcome the big effort. We really didnt have a lot of food, we use to eat just in the mornings breakfast and then in the late afternoon something as dinner.
In this photo we are all the fellowship together enjoying the little things that we had as an apple for example. After this beauty waterfall we continued our journey and we have to arrive the laguna Creton in half an our.
We arrive there and we started to climb to the right of that laguna. We didn take photos there because it was really windy and cold, se we continue walking. After 1 hour or maybe one hour and a half we arrived to the most amazing and beautifull lake of all the adventure, Blue Lake.
These photos are natural without color correction. You have to believe me it was pure blue. And really huge with steepy mountains arround the lake

How to describe this colour ? Its impossible so you just have to watch the photos, the sensation and the deepnes of the lake was behind words.
I was really happy to have the oportunity to watch it and we took a lot of great photos.
After took a short breack and eat some snacks we continue the trekking. After this we had to arrive to Laguna Jujuy wich was a small one, but we could sleep. We walk like one hour and a half more and we arrive there with a lot of energy and great humor. Now we were really close to our goal. Almost 40 kms of trekking we had already done.

That night was really cold and in the middle of the shadow it starts to rain like crazy. So we stay in the tent until 11 pm, a group of people pass our camp walking, they were completely wet and with water. But that was our last day of hiking , and that motivated us to woke up and had the breakfast. We used to eat some granola with dry milk and grapes. That is the perfect food for hikers because give you a lot of energy to walk all the day and also is light to your stomach. When i am in my home in city, i use to eat granola also when i have some long days and i cant eat in the whole day. Oats are great and gives you a lot of energy and power.
So we walked all the way down to our last lake: ilón lake.
As you cans see in the picture, it was absolutely cloudy and it was also a cold day.
In the down hill, we saw again forestes. In the high altitute there are not trees, because climate is not good for them. Again in the forest we felt the protection of it trees, and the enviroment. We saw the most beautifull wild orchideas that i had neves seen i all my life. There were hundreds of them, all with yelllow colours. In my city you can pay almost 15 usd for just one of them, and there we got thousands for free. I felt really good in that moment, my legs working without any effort, and my mind really happy for being so near to our destination. It is a reality that you dont walk 50 kms in the moutain every month of your life.

Finally we arrive to our destination ! Laguna ilón was there and we felt absolutely happy as a team and me personally to
survived theses wild days.
How to describe our sensation ? It was just great to enter into the refugges and feel the warm of the stove in the middle. That things that you cannot buy, but just achieve with your effort.
This was my last walk until the refugge. The owner of the place was really warm with us and said us some recomendations to camp and all the info. The refugge was a geodesic structure really light but with resistance.
