Just as usual, everyone is busy with one or two things. It is December 24th, the eve of Christmas. I was about leaving home for an event within the city. Hoping to get where i was going on time, but it was all in vain due to gridlocks on the way. Vehicles were honking their horns rigorously that it can block your hearings. What should i do? Should i turn back home or get going? These were the questions that was running through my veins. I made a decision to walk down the busy aisle. But guess what, it was fun. Different people with different attitudes, should i talk about the market women or the bus riders. Everyone of them almost created a scene each time i walked past them. Some chanting for customers to come and patronize them and to the drivers, they were chanting for passengers into their vehicles. Many holding their chickens with different styles, and many getting their perishable goods for the Christmas celebration.
All what i can say is that, despite the crumbled economy, Nigerian citizens still try to adapt and make merry their Christmas.
Merry Christmas in advance to you all.
